Cathedral City Extra Mature Cheddar Cheese (the one in the black packet) is on offer at Asda, usually £2.59 for a 200g packet and now only £1! I bought a few of these instore this morning - can't see it online, a great price for really tasty cheese :).

All these Asda deals crop up when I don't have access to the car! Hopefully it'll pass its MOT so I can grab about 3 pages worth of deals before the general public snap them up before me

Plastic fantastic - don't like the texture of this, but it's a hot deal for those that like it - so I vote hot.

I've always thought Asda was better than Tesco. Since I've been at Uni it's the only place I've ever shopped. Maybe it's just the things that I buy but Tesco always seems miles more expensive to me.

I've not shopped in a big Tesco for a month. My local Tesco Express actually has more range than the big-ish one which has discontinued loads of its value lines and increased prices tenfold on everything else.

Asda isn't local to me but there is one local to my family who I visit once a week, so I stock up when I'm over there and go to Lidl or Aldi for the rest.

Tesco's lost the vast majority of my custom, Asda are always bringing the deals!

Not sure this deal is as good as it appears.
Sainsburys were doing 400g packs of the same cheese, on a BOGOF, for £3.86 a couple of weeks ago.
