Supermarket comparison site:

Tesco £2.00 - Valid until: 13/01/2009
Asda £3.86
Sainsbury's £3.86
Ocado £3.86

At Somerfield I can find Pilgrims Choice cheese at half price £1.99, no mention of Cathedral City though

Good best before dates on these so well worth getting a couple.
Not the best cheese but it's definitely above average imo(as far as supermarket run of the mill cheddars go).

This sort of cheese gets better with age - do ignore the use by date! Just don't let it go blue and you'll be fine. I often keep mature cheese in the original wrapper for many months beyond the use by date and it's fine.
