The Nikkai MP3 CD head unit is a competitively priced car stereo upgrade for those wishing to benefit from MP3 playback capability. Using a CD-burner, users can create their own customised MP3 CDs, creating up to 10 albums worth of music on a single CD! Support for ID3 tagging means you can label each track with up to 30 characters when burning MP3 files on to a CD using appropriate software. The unit has 4 preset EQ settings (pop, rock, classical or flat), or alternatively, bass and treble can be set independently, as can the left/right and front/rear faders. The tuner is RDS compatible, and can be set to receive Traffic Alert messages (TA) for the locality in which you are driving when these are available. The RDS feature also means that the head unit will automatically retune itself to the strongest reception for the station you are listening to.
