CD'S £2.99 @ HMV Online

Too many to list, but include Kylie, Maroon 5, Newton Faulkner and Scissors Sisters current album (http://hmv.com/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;-1;-1;-1;-1&sku=97558)

Probably not everyone's cup of tea - but if you want the album cheap (and prefer to feel a CD in your hand - like the old days ;) )

I work for HMV and might lose my home if we close so please don't say it like it means nothing.

I realy don't want HMV to close, it's one shop I actually enjoy going into.
Could they not drop the prices instore to compete with online pricing?

The HMV £2.99 sale seemingly runs 365 days of the year (all they do is change the promo banner). Not that I'm complaining I've picked up some great deals.

However, posted deal is not specific enough for me to vote.

Online is cheaper as it comes from Jersey where's there's no tax to pay. Can't compete with that I'm afraid. I think it's a shame that people would rather save a quid rather that go into an actual shop and see what amazing items are there, and to support the shops in their town. I'm hoping our shop doesn't close, I'm in a seaside town and we're one of the only decent high street shops left.

Actually I said it with sympathy... but HMV show nothing but disdain for their customers. Their shops are untidy, their products badly catalogued and showcased, and their staff unknowledgable and rude. Apart from you, I hope!
