His other albums "Universe" and "Politics" are both also £4.99 at Amazon!

Produced by Daft Punk (one half of) - Sebastien Tellier also supported Daft Punk during a tour), the similarities and catchy pop hooks are no coincidence.

Mixmag, Feb, 2007 'The best French Dance Album since Discovery'

Note: At the time of posting Amazon are awaiting new stock and state delivery as 7 to 10 days - there has been big demand for this album (in the time it took me to put an order in the last 4 copies were sold!)

This is a deal posting and as such may not be to everyones musical taste. Please, NO discussion of the politicial shambles that is now Eurovision. I think Terry Wogan said it all.

Video of the Divine single can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vz58Hw9hldw

IF this is to your liking then, you might also like to check out his album Universe has lovely acoustic numbers. This album is a mix of his Sessions with handpicked tracks from other albums just for the UK market (as is a bargain at £4.99 from Amazon- only 2 in stock at time of writing)

£6.99 delivered from Play or HMV, if you don't want to spend £15. Not hot or cold from me.

Tellier's a great artist, however, and Divine's a really catchy track. Haven't heard much else of the album yet, but seems alright from a quick play-through.

*Sorry, just noticed they're out of stock for the moment at Play & HMV. Although would probably still arrive around the same time considering the 7-11 day delivery at amazon.

are you kidding me..............the eurovision is dead to me, and this is not to my liking. nor anyone else hence chill factor.

the eurovision is dead to me,

I agree but thats not the point of this post.

and this is not to my liking. nor anyone else ... also song stinks!

Thats not the point of HUKD - its about value and this is the cheapest around for any of his albums (although they do seem to be selling like hot cakes).
But it does look like some of the French aren't too pleased with him

As Jazid said, personal taste shouldn't come into hukd voting, nor should a disliking of Eurovision.
This is a great artist, and likely a good album (speaking from his past work), at a reasonable price if you're going to spend £15 anyway, or if you're a Prime member.

I thought he was told before he had to sing in French or they wouldn't let him represent them at all?
Never been a follower/viewer of the contest, but glad to see he stuck to his values.

Surely if they were good it would change the Eurovision far too much to be popular....... Its the rubbishness of the thing that makes it entertaining

there was something about the french entry.... corny but catchy...

this is the guy who did la riournellehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qsk8QQj5Nrc so get politics instead, mediocre album but absolutely worth it for this single song http://hmv.com/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;-1;-1;-1&sku=388915

Sexuality is a great album. Tellier is fantastic - anyone in doubt check out La Ritournelle - one of the greatest tunes ever;

As I understand it he didn't make it through the semi's. A pity, as he was the one act I wanted to see! Perhaps they thought he might have a chance of winning? :whistling:

[QUOTE=RainbowWarrior]As Jazid said, personal taste shouldn't come into hukd voting, nor should a disliking of Eurovision.

But sadly there appears to be a lot of voting on HUKD based on personal tastes.

I too endured most of the show and thought the french entry was the only saving grace of the show, more artists like that and the show might become creditable, the opposite could be said about the actually winner in the end, just goes to show how off the mark the show and voting countries are, really **** mamby pamby sickbag of a song it was too,i was wishing the skater they had would run over his feet lol.
p.s la ritournelle is a great track

Whilst I didn't like the song that won, it wasn't surprising that he won - he's a big pop star in Russia and so will be popular in the surrounding countries. I imagine the song had far more publicity than we ever bother trying to generate for our entry (which was rubbish - dull, bland and forgettable, so certainly not a song that will do well at Eurovision).

Tellier's song is a really good song, and his albums are also fantastic. Well worth a listen.
