CD-Wow sales are never really that amazing, but in general there very cheap anyway, I always go for the Region 2 & 4 discs which come in a lot cheaper than just the Region 2 discs for some reason, and of course it gives me the added flexibility of being able to take all my dvd's with me if I move to latin america ;)

It's not too bad in terms of the CDs - the UK number one album for £5.99 if you use a voucher, £5.49 if you choose to use a discount link as well...
#12

I wouldn't even pay that to watch it burn.

Got it from them when it was released for £6.49 i love it.

Why do they bother with these sales , you can get most of the dvds at the same price elsewhere !!!!
#15
Already on - just ordered Lazytown: surprise santa & other stories for the kids, for just £2.99! (using discount link & voucher code)

DVD's yes one or two, CD's only CD Jungle and I don't like them, and games well they are very good for games if you use the vouchers.
#17
How many of the vouchers can you use at once?
#18
Thanks. Nothing to get excited over in the sale, but I picked up season 9 of The Simpsons for £15.99 and the US vs. John Lennon soundtrack CD for £6.49.

Can use one of the link vouchers to get 50p off add it to your cart, then add the £1 voucher in the checkout bit. £1.50 saving.

If you have quidco add it to your cart close the cd wow page open it through quidco then you have cashback as well

This is a joke!

Most of the prices haven't changed from before the so called ''sale'' and probably won't after. The selection is so limited! 24hr sales are hype! ebuyer also often hoodwinks using this method.

Preying on ignorance and having the 24hrs descending displayed is taking the p*** .

Including current active vouchers I agree with Starlet & The Dude!

My last CD-WOW transaction via Quidco has just been declined :-(

cd-wow will decline every single transaction when you use both the affiliate link and a voucher code. They've been doing this since Jan. 2007. So far I have Quidco declined for 7 out of 7 orders since Jan. 2007. Now I don't bother with Quidco anymore, and since there's nothing of interest from cd-wow, I also don't bother with them anymore! ;-)

The discount links and vouchers available are almost always worth more than Quidco anyway, unless you're spending over £40. (Based on using a £1 discount link and £1 voucher!)

Mine have worked so far:

22 Apr 2007 18:24:38 CDWOW! 6.49 0.32 validated ~ May 2007

Last one hasn't tracked but I cannot log on to my order bit to find out whether its been dispatched yet else ill do an enquiry.

They always cancel my dual discount link and voucher code orders.

It's weird how they do that to some people and not others. I've ordered everything using discount links combined with vouchers for nigh on 2 years now, and only ever had one item cancelled because they'd mispriced it in the first place, so I was going to get it for 24p. :giggle:
