I've been selling CDA products for a while now and not one person have disliked them and surprised they've never heard of them. Great price voted hot from me!!!

Seems a lot of money for a very basic fridge freezer... the ability to attach the cabinet door seems to add big numbers to the cost of what seems a very cheap unit, as in itself it isn't a very high spec :-(

As I said on another thread recently, frost-free is the only way to go now - buying a manual defrost freezer is like buying a wind-up gramophone!

I thought the ability to attach to cabinet doors was in the cost

'Some other features that benefit this fridge freezer are height adjustable feet, reversible doors, sliding hinges to attach your cabinet door to the fridge freezer doors, and an A rating for energy efficiency. '

They have certainly added on a few bob for the ability to put it in a cabinet - You would imagine they would be cheaper, as they are less decorative!

More sophisticated models these days have dual thermostats (separate for fridge & freezer) and some even have separate compressors, as well as frost free operation, let alone drinks or ice dispensers. All that apart, I certainly wouldn't like to go back to crawling around on hands and knees mopping up when defrosting a freezer again, after seeing how little effort a frost free one is!

Do you have one that would cost this much and be frost free then?

Yup. I think it's cold too.

Self explanetary.

Voted cold.

CDA are a company that tend to source surplus stocks from other manufacturers. There stuff is usually sold as low price options by kitchen design places such as GDK.

The 5 year warranty is parts only. Labour is payable and I believe that they have a £70 call out charge.

It's the integrated requirement that seems to preclude getting a good bargain... someone else posted this (not really a deal, but as a quick illustration of how much you can get for your money):

sliding hinge system is a poor way of attaching a door - only used by cheaper makes and entry products of better brands - better with a flat hinge fixing, where the door is screwed to the frisge freezer door, as opposed to hinged on the carcase and two bits of plastic holding the funiture door to the fridge or freezer door.

I personally wouldn't buy this - it is cheap - and for a reason - it isn't any good. Do you really want to be replacing this in 3-5 years time - trying to find another model using same doors, having to refit the unit and swap the doors ?
