I have been looking for a LCD TV for the kitchen for sometime and was quite dissapointed with offerings from the big stores. Either they were too small or of poor quality. I came across this model while searching a price comparisson web site and duly clicked on to Amazon. There was not much info to go on and I had not heard of the brand CELLO before, although I knew someone once who played one!!. But as it came with a built in Mult-region DVD and was a 19" widescreen all for only £189 I thought let's give it a try.

I ordered it on Monday and it arrived Thursday morning. I unpacked it and plugged it in via it's 12volt mains adaptor (maybe it can be used in a caravan, it doesn't say in the instructions)I followed the quick start instructions and after about 4 minutes of auto-searching for TV stations I was watching Fern Brittain on This Morning. But enough of that, I tried the multi region dvd. It is located on the left hand side as you look at the TV and is just a slot where you feed in the disk. You have to switch the TV to DVD mode next, via the remote control. Yep, it all worked well playing Nemo crisp and clear. Now what about one of those DVD's from Johnny Foreigner!! That worked fine too just showing that it really was Multi regional. The build quality is good and the stand is removable via 4 screws so that it can be attached to a wall bracket via the 4 holes in the back. The holes are 100mm apart so will fit a standard VESA TV bracket.

Picture Quality is very good with a bright display. I have not tried it on HD but there are loads of different connections on the back inc HDMI, PC, Scart etc. The Remote control is nicely made and easy to use and comes with batteries. Plus point on this TV is a UK telephone helpline should you have any problems. I am very pleased with my purchase and may buy another for the spare bedroom. The nearest equivelent to this TV for the price was in a large store at £229 but did not have the multi-region capable DVD only a standard one. A Great Buy...A Great TV. Grab one now.

I have been hunting the net for ages for a reasonably priced LCD tele for my bedroom when I stumbled across this one. I was a bit sceptical because I hadn't heard of the make but was willing to take a chance because of this is the most reasonable I've seen even BEFORE the reduction that has an inbulit DVD player. So because of this I stuck my neck out and bought it, now imagine my delight when I got the thing home and realised that not only does it have a DVD inbuilt but this thing is also HD READY! Yes supports res up to and including 1080i. My XBOX 360 works an absoloute treat on it through the RGB slot. The DVD function is ace, the picture is crystal clear. YOu have loads of inputs round the back including HDMI, Scart, AV, RGB and S-Video. Unbelievable. The only downside is that the insturuction booklet is very basic and you need a bit of common and tele knowhow to set stuff up. The remote as well is a bit cheap and keys occassionally get stuck behind the frame, but thats it apart from those two minor things this is top notch. Well done amazon an absoloute bargin.

My only critism would be the contrast ratio isn't briilliant, there's a little bit of back light bleed noticable on dark sceens, but i've seen more expensive branded panels of this size suffer from the same problem. The built in DVD player is a great feature, the TV seemed to handle upscaling the picture quite well. The sound from the TV is excellent also, sound is often a problem with these smaller TV's but the Cello handles it well.
