B&Q Durham are selling these for £1 too but they are out of date by 2 to 3 month really only good for mixing with sharp sand dry to lay flags on and maybe a small foundation for a shed

Edited By: buster1990 on Jan 02, 2017 13:45: Adding extra

Boston seems like a fair way to go - particularly as you'll need to check the cement in

If it's out of date forget it. It won't cure.

Great as long as you dont fancy laying bricks with it, probably got small lumps. If still like powder then it will be mint. What I hate is out of date plaster!

The Date has absolutely no impact on whether the cement will set or not, (i work for the same industry)
If the bags are pliable and haven't gotten wet then use as normal for whatever task you have in mind. Prior to Jan 2003, no cement had a best before date, after this time, all cement manufacturers in Europe were compelled to add an ingredient to reduce chromium 6 levels in cement. It is this ingredient that has the short shelf life. It has no other effect on the properties or setting times / strength of the cement. You may wish to protect you skin whilst using the out of date product as the ingredient will now has less effect on chromium 6, and skin may become more sensitive to cement.

Hot as hell by the way!!!

Yes spot on. The date is to do with the potential cancerous causing dust although hugely near zero chance. Think its 6ppm when treated but can rise to over 12ppm after use by.
