Well if you can find me that deal in Longleat send me a screen dump. As for being able to read my friend, there is nothing wrong with my eyes. Still think £50 a day for a free swim is steep when you can go to the local pool for a couple of quid. Sorry still cold for me.
#16
think your missin the point of the deal it might be expensive in comparison to some other
holiday companys but as far a centre parks go this is cheap
its cheap for centre parks there for its hot

I disagree that you need loads of money. I went there earlier in the year with my wife and 2 daughters (1+2). Had a lovely time exploring the woods, walking, using the pool and relaxing in the beautiful lodge. We bought our food and wine on the way so didn't have to pay the higher prices in the shop. Very cheap holiday for us.

Good Tip BUT.... on the small print when the vouchers arrive......you cant use these vouchers at Center Parcs....:x
#24
785 for 16 feb 4 days!! in other words nearly 200 a day plus you will need spending money to match result, dont bother if you have children and abide by school rules,i doubt even phoning up would reduce price to a fair price,do you think centre parcs quadruple the staff wages during half term like they do with the prices:whistling:

I disagree, me and the family go to centre parcs 4-5 times a year and always use clubcard vouchers (our own and ones bought on ebay) never had a problem. last time we went was in december for the winter wonderland and they still accepted them.

Hi,

I can confirm that Tesco Clubcard vouchers are valid at Cafe Rouge and Ortega at Centre Parcs Longleat - at least they were at Christmas. However, I have just checked the website to provide the link and Cafe Rouge advise - Tesco Club Card Vouchers are being fazed out at Café Rouge in all Center Parcs locations. They are valid up until the 30th of June 2009.

http://www.caferouge.co.uk/locations_restaurant.php?id=109

I have heard that the rule of thumb is that whatever you pay for the accommodation you can expect to spend the equivalent on site.

However you can do it on a budget. You can do your shopping at the local Tesco, Sainsbury or Asda - that would be just like your normal shop - or if you are lucky to have room in the car - take it with you. Still check out the on site shop for the red stickers as they often have reductions. You don't have to spend money there if you are happy to do your own cooking, enjoy the swimming, the walking, the peace and quiet and the pleasure of not seeing many cars. If you have young children - they do some free entertain once or twice a week. And there is the ball park for the children to play in. You could take your bikes, roller skates, etc.

We did use the new Dining In delivery service and the pizza was the best pizza I have ever tasted. I just wished they did delivery services at home! It might have been a one off though - but the food was lovely.

Above comments refer to Longleat.

Hope this helps.

Can someone give me an idea of activity costs?

the link on Centre Parcs page isn't working. It states file broken unable to repair ??

I'm considering this for march, but as I have never been to a centre parcs before would welcome advice on which style/level accomodation to book? I have 4 children ages 6, 11, 12, 12.

Also if I phone up, where so I say the code came from? Or doesn't it matter?

Thanks in advance

The comfort accomodation is the cheapest nd with kids you wont be in it for long! But's it's more than basic.

Bowling in the evning is £20 for an hour
Aerial adventure is good (if your ok with heights) but it's £22 each
Swimming is free and get some of the clubcard vouchers if you are planning to eat out.

If you book online they will send you a online acivity booking form which is interactive and lets you plan your stay.

I have been to CP about 6 times and have always been happy!

Thanks for the info.

I already have a wee collection of tesco clubcard vouchers. We gather all year and decide what to use them on for our summer break, days out, meals at Bella Italia etc.

I think I'll give them a call and see what price I get quoted :-D
#31
I have already booked an executive villa for the 13th March paid £338. Thought I would check out if this would be cheaper, put in the details and it comes up£469???
#32
just got back yesterday from eleveden in a 4 bed new style executive, was a great 5 days and with 2 kids only spent about £200, that included eating out 3 times, we took food with us and mainly spent our time relaxing in the pool and various bars/cafe's allowing the kids to spend time in the excellent indoor play facilities.
#33
Center parcs is going the same way as its prices, dirty villas, sub arctic swimming paradise and most public areas on a busy weekend resembling airport lounges. It used to be lovely.

You can use them at Bella Italia or Cafe Rouge, and i believe its all of there restaurants inside or outside of the parks. We changed up £40 (i think)of Tesco's vouchers and got back £120 of restaurant vouchers.

They can also be used in Ortega and Ma Potters.

Only for food though not drinks ;(

I like Center Parcs. But with the credit crunch, this year it's going to be camping holidays - 4 days for £50! Lol. CP is great. Just too expensive. Nice swimming facilities though.

It does specifically say in the rules that they dont accept them in centerparcs restaurants, but think I will order them and try, can always use them locally if they dont.

How long do they take to arrive?
