Great deal if you fancy a few nights in Nottingham.

The Britannia Nottingham Hotel is offering a special nightly package for £25 per person, including tax. That's around the same price as a room-only stay but includes these extras, worth over £50:

•Full English breakfast
•3-course buffet dinner
•One hour of “free bar”, between 6-7pm at the bar below the hotel, covering house spirits, house wines and selected draught lagers
The offer is available for stays seven days a week until 21 December.

Blackout dates: 8-9 October; 3-4 December.

Book by 21 October.

About the hotel: The Britannia Nottingham Hotel is in the centre of Nottingham, near Nottingham Castle, Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, Victoria Shopping Centre and the Nottingham City business district.

We went for a look around the hotel, as we’d heard reports that it was very basic before recent renovations. We found that the upper areas of the hotel have already been refurbished to a decent standard. The dinner menu in the hotel offers simple, enjoyable British dishes.

Let's face it: you could really get your money's worth in one hour of free bar if you tried hard enough.

Perfect for the proverbial dirty weekend methinks.

Black out this weekend. F**k.

I'd be all over this.

Blackouts most weekends I imagine, if trying to drink £25 of alcohol in an hour

I live in Nottingham, for £25 I might go for there for the breakfast, bar and dinner and sleep at home.

It's worth mentioning that this hotel is not "near" Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, despite their claims.

"Just had a quick try for a Saturday night in November and its comes up £108...???"

But your not staying for 7 nights?

Wasn't the Britannia group on watchdog last week?

Fantastic offer - Room booked!

There is a £2 admin fee added on at the checkout (but I'll get that back at the free bar!).

This hotel is awful. Stopped there last month and the room was filthy. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. The bar and restaurant was even worse. The food looked like it had been sitting there, kept warm by a 20W light bulb, for at least a week. Ordered off the menu and it was no better - who boils a chicken breast???

It's adored by the old foggies. I was running the marathon so got up nice and early to eat breakfast. Got there 20mins before it opened and there was already a queue 40 people deep. You'll be lucky to get 1 drink during the happy hour!

From tripadvisor:

"Booked a twin room, four months in advance, were given a double, no other rooms were available, apparently. Blood in bath which hadn't been cleaned for sometime etc"

What is it, the Bates Motel?

I wonder how many of you voting "hot" have actually bothered to read the TripAdvisor reviews of this hotel ?

I gave the first few pages a read, if i had a bit of money to spare i'd seriously consider booking this just for what looks like the comedy value!

Please, Please, Please people do not book here. I know it might sound cheap and thats what I thought when I booked the Britannia Europa Gatwick over August bank holiday, and I was appalled. I have stayed in some quite shoddy places before from New York to Blackpool etc but that place was a disgrace. Lipstick on mugs in room, pubes in bath, dirt on everything. I stayed the night because it was late (after demanding another room, and demanding my breakfast refunding) Checked out in the morning and wrote off the second nights stay and stayed in the lovely nearby Crowne Plaza. Please people Britannia are a sad, sad joke of a company. The people they employ have no concept of cleanliness. Steer well clear. Don't say you havnt been warned.

This place is an absolute dive, book at your peril!

I would want to be paid to stay at the Nottm Brittania. We went there for some training for work and ended up being moved to another hotel. It was filthy, the food was appalling, the toilets were in a shocking state. Horrible place.
