I had this. It lasted surprisingly well and is powerful enough to cut all but the longest grass, but the quality of the cut is extremely bad. It hacks the hell out of your lawn. I just thought that my garden had 'bad grass' until I got myself a new Bosch and now it's the world of difference. Then again, it cost £70 more than this, so it should be better.

Bottom line is, if you absolutely have to cut grass and only have £30 then this'll do the job, but it's not very good at it and will leave your lawn quite patchy.
Defo a case of "you get what you pay for" !

Mother-in-law has one and I have to use it. Best I can say is it works better than scissors;-).
Grass collection is poor and it blocks up easily. Very narrow cut. Not for the bigger lawn.
But for the price.........
basically 'thekanester' 's first post was spot on.
