I know its a few more pounds but this could be worth the extra fiver at Screwfix for 750W instead of 500W:

I've had a similar cheap grinder (think it was B&Q) and it was VERY poor. Smoke started coming from the motor if used it for more than 30 seconds or so.

So I'd try the screwfix one over this (take the full stop off the above URL), or wait until Aldi/Lidl have them - been very happy with my Aldi ones.

For a few quid more I'd recommend getting a silverline, similar budget product but I use mine often and it's not failed.

I'm impressed with their guarantee too, power tools are guaranteed 3 years, and hand tools forever. Remember where you put the receipt though! :D
