Not a bargain, cheap, you get what you pay for. The heaviest bike, yes it folds but you can't lift it."

"I got the bike when it was on half price offer and it was a real bargain. I love it.
I managed to put it together by myself, took me less than an hour. Don't know why people say the instructions are not clear because I followed them very easily. The only thing I struggled with was the pedals but that's because I didn't follow instructions (on is screwed on clockwise, the other anti-clockwise).
Been out on the bike loads and it is just great, OK the seat is not exactly comfy, I may invest in a larger one but it doesn't affect the smooth ride!"

death trap.

It's probably extremely heavy and not very durable, but it looks a lot more useful than the usual folding bikes you get around this price. Maybe for someone who wants to get a little casual exercise in a favourite country park, that is only accessible by driving to in their small car, it would be ideal. Not everyone needs an ultra lightweight super-strong mountain bike.

With a budget of £100 I think I'd buy a £65 bike from Asda and spend the change on a rack for the back of the car.

£35 is very cheap for a bike rack and some people might not have space to store a bike let alone a bike rack.

£100 is cheap for a mountain bike and VERY cheap for a folding bike. I wouldn't buy an expensive rack for a cheap bike - seems a bit backwards.

not my argument, but...

I wouldnt put a cheap bike rack on any car I wanted to resell as the rack or your bike will probably scratch your car badly when going over speedbumps or potholes!

OK! I give up! You guys win. This is a hot deal for a single person with a small car and not enough storage space for a bike and a carrier or who is too proud of their shiny car to put a bike carrier on the back.

Possibly a couple who could fold the back seat of their hatchback could use 2.

Link shows price as £199...am I missing something or has it gone back to original price.

Does appear to be back at full price which makes it a total anti-bargain, must have sold more than they expected when they reduced it.
