Just bought one yesterday for £2.99 :( May return it and rebuy if I can master the snow, LOL.

The set itself seem good value. Plenty of spacers (3 sizes) 2x glue applications tools, small sponge.

The grout tool is a rasor blade (note: 2 spare blades in the handle - took me a while to find), not sure how I use this tool, tho (appreciate if anyone could enlighten me).

The tile cutter is simple but functional and reasonable solid. Definately worth the money (even £2.99) :)

Razor blade or stanley knife blade?

Just reserved the last one in Eastbourne Admiral Park. About to start some tiling. Hot from me.

loads of stock around glasgow area,

Bought one of these a couple of weeks back. Not bad at all. The grout rake isn't the best being just a razor blade with a handle. I found it prone to coming out and not as good as the carbide grit type.

Can't complain though.

I found it best to use the rake to run along each side of teh grout and then rub the middle with a think screwdriver.

I got this but when you get to store they charge you £2.99. still a good deal, even if cutter is a bit flimsy.

The person may pass this store everyday or work there.

Therefore it is worth returning for a £1.

You wouldn't walk pass a £1 coin on the floor would you?

Heat added for the price, but may have to remove it is the wife sees the offer too!

Errm if it involved me finding the receipt, hanging around at customer services, being asked the reason for returning it (not mentioning to save a quid), queuing back up to order the same thing, waiting approx 4 mins for it to come back down the travelator, and then queing to get my recepit stamped, I think they can keep the quid.

Just opened mine to have a look... tile nippers as advertised are not included, it is actually a tile cutter. :thinking:http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/2927/nippers.gif

Picked one up today. OK at £1.99 or £2.99 but certainly not worth original price of £9.99. My comments on contents:

 Adhesive spreader (metal blade) - good quality
 Tile cutter (pliers type with cutting wheel) - not high quality but adequate, no nipping function
 Grout spreader (rubber blade) – blade stiff but adequate
 Grout rake (removable blade of safety razor type) - pretty well useless as a grout rake but might serve as a craft knife! Who has spare safety razor blades in stock these days??
 Sponge/scourer – adequate
 Spacers (3 sizes: 2, 4 and 5mm) - adequate

Puffer is pretty much spot on with those comments.. Definately not worth £10 but glad I got it for the £2 in the end.

The above comment made me laugh though, anyone who read the thread below will know what I mean....

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/569437/15-mach-3-or-12-fusion-razor-blades

(You have to read about 4 / 5 pages in for the safety razor stuff, I wasn't thinking that a Gillette Fusion blade would fit it)

I should have made it clear that the grout rake uses a single-edged safety razor blade. They are readily available from your local purveyor of hens' teeth.
