Does everybody know if it comes with one or two battery packs?

Experience tells me cheap cordless drills are overpriced, when one considers the poor quality and abysmal battery life.

My Challenge drill has an hopeless chuck (poor grip on bit) & miserable battery life.
My Bosch at twice the price is actually worth about 10 times as much.

My Wickes cordless battery became useless after 6 months and the Tescos £9.99 cheapie was the pick of the unbranded cheapies, as it just about justified it's price tag.

Cold from me - i bought a bargain Challenge when i bought my house. It came with 2 1hour charge batteries and a little after 12 months and little use, both batteries died and are unusable.

1 hour charge so seems to be Lithium?
But I'd agree with other comments, I had this brand and it was dead within a year or so
Cheap but possibly not cheerful!

My old one wasn't lithium and had a one hour charge time.

you've got to keep batteries charged up lithium ni cad whaever. Give them a charge every few months or so. Just bought 18 v version of this today in store. Seems ok and good price 39 99 2 batteries and screwdriver.
