Champagne and Fine Wine Six

great deal as Piper-Heidsieck is at least £25

A festive combination headed by a champagne from one of the most respected champagne houses. An impressive business gift at anytime. Gift comprises six bottles, two of each pictured.

Piper-Heidsieck Brut NV Champagne, France
Brilliant non vintage Champagne with a fine and delicate mousse. With mainly Pinot Noir in the blend, this Champagne was created by master blender, the late Daniel Thibault, twice voted Sparkling Winemaker of the Year in the International Wine Challenge. A popular lively dry style suitable to enjoy in a party atmosphere, as well as with canap?

Cune Reserva 2004 Rioja, Spain
This is an excellent Rioja from a fine vintage and a well-respected, traditional Bodega. The wine is predominantly Tempranillo with a little Garnacha and Graciano. Soft and supple on the palate, with good integration of wood and evolving fruit. Serve with lamb or duck.

Sonoma-Cutrer Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2006 California, USA
very fine and intense Chardonnay from California. Aromas of melon, citrus and ginger lead into a fresh minerality on the palate and flavours of apple and pineapple. It has a nutty, lightly-oaked profile and a long spicy finish. The wine is fermented and aged in French barriques.

Heidsieck is currently £13 in Booths Supermarkets (a posh lancashirian version of Waitrose).
