Might be very limited stock as one of them has run out already, get in quick!

If it's any good, then this is a great find.

Unfortunately there was a glitch @ cdiscount earlier on where prices were showing at around twice as much as they are now. Many may have decided not to bother with the deal because of that and others may have not seen the original heads up. I now can add prices and products as an example deal post which reflects the accuracy of the intended deal - hoping it helps anyone interested

still the same deal:roll:
update the original one but besides, juliet bravo posted that before you as well :p

so both need removing - sorry same rules for mods as well as the great unwashed

Thanks for the reply but the prices seem to have doubled! A bottle of Dourthe that was overpriced at £5 is now £10?
:?

Spot the problem.

^^ unlucky. Hope you've called them (from my experience, much quicker way in getting the problem sorted) - see if you can make out which ejit signed the packing slip to "check contents". Incidentally what does your slip say? >> anyway tbh 8% it's going to be like lambrini :o

First lot of champagne came today, I got some Bricout (for cheap thrills) and after a bit of searching it seems the house is now owned by "Pommery-Franken".
I am more interested in the Beckermann? that I ordered because it seemed to have a better selection of grapes.

Since being in the region, and speaking to the french that actually buy from the local estates, it seems that some of the smaller champagne houses hold the biggest surprises :) Good price, I'm going to chill one to try later one. - I did buy some proper Duval Leroy as well << good stuff :) [excellent for mothers day too!]

Yeah but 6x lambrini-esque bottles for £11.50, not bad for a party

ONE for £11.50.... VERY BAD.

Can't believe they're trying to pass it off as it's actual price for 1 now.

Now I'm no coinoisseur, but, one bottle of 'pink' sparkling 8% lambrusco wine, for £22.99. When they've got actual champage at that price. Right.

I haven't checked the packing slip actually, haven't opened the box, as I knew it was going right back! I almost didn't sign for it but I felt sorry for the delivery man as it's not his fault...?!
Wish I hadn't now though.

I will call them tomorrow. Tried their online 'help' thingy to no avail.

I got the same deal and only one bottle came :-( with the 5 bottles of champagne in a marked case, hence I thought it was just part of the order and accepted it.

It's only bloody Lambrusco which we all know you can get at any offy or supermarket for less than 3 quid a bottle (usually 5% ABH) which meant I thought 6 bottle of 8% ABH wasn't a bad price, hence the reason I ordered them.

I haven't tried to phone yet but sent them a snotagram on Friday to which they haven't replied. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for the weekend but if I have no reply by COP tomorrow then I'll be on the phone to them sharpish to verbally 'tear them a new o'. This one is seriously taking the proverbial....

I'm glad somebody cut and paste the original advert earlier on this thread as I thought I was going mad thinking it couldn't have stated a case/6 bottles but then I wouldn't have orderd it in the first place! Sanity partially restored now I know I'm not the only one, but that makes it twice as bad mind as it seems they may have done it to all that ordered and it isn't actually an error :x

Result!!

Took a couple of e-mails and a few 'threatening' sentences from me to get this mind. Hope everyone else gets what they deserve after this nothing short of a shambles balls up by CDiscount - and then for them to deny it and make us feel like we've made the mistake. The cheek!

My offer of redress from CDiscount reads:

Thank you for contacting Cdiscount.co.uk.

I have received your message today and from what i can see you purchased 6 bottles of wine which was mis-advertised on the site. I am sorry to say that we can not sent out the original
order. But as it was a fault of ours we will refund the amount of the wine and also issue a £10 voucher to your account and also let you hold on to the bottle of wine that was sent out. Please accept our apology for the trouble caused.
