I know this is not the newest Champ Manager game but for £1 you really cant go wrong. you can download updates from various fansites which will get the teams fairly current - a good intro into these sort of games.

I found this game in the Wrexham branch of Poundland - there were about 10 or so others.

Hope this helps someone

also next nearest is from shop-to for £3.98

Still, great price for a fairly recent game, heat added

Agreed.....IMO, this game is only worth the quid!! Just my opinion tho, so I'm not voting either way :)

I used to play these football manager games years ago all the time and for some reason I just can't get back into them for anything. I think one reason is that they're all just so complicated now. The real fun is in the transfers and they should keep the rest nice and simple.

Not even worth a pound!

Completely agree, I was the same, the last one I played non stop was CM 99/00 - Nowadays they are over complicated and the fun has been taken out of them as a result.

Might be worth trying some of the Premier Manager games, they seem to have a smaller budget and as a result tend to simpler to play. Or if you have a PSP give Football Manager a go on this format as it is almost like a lite version of the stat heavy PC version.
