Cracking deal considering the telegraph fantasy league costs £6 normally!!

I know there are plenty of free ones, but i find the telegraph to be one of the better fantasy football sites

Good deal I suppose, but the game is terrible imo...

Wasnt this the game that when released was selling for what you were prepared to pay for it? Most people paid £2.51 I think.

Yes, I believe this is correct. But that offer has lapsed and I can't find a cheaper price for the game alone.

The game isn't very good at all, and that's coming from someone that bought it for £2.51 in the initial offer!

But, as I can't find it cheaper then it's a decent price. Not that it's worth it.

I already posted this, but it didn't get as much love as your's so fair play

Cracking offer, have been enjoying the game for the last week or so

game isn't a patch on FM, but if youre looking to join the fantasy league, i guess getting it for "nowt" is a decent deal.

I paid £2.51 played it for about 30 minutes and never played it again due to the vastly superior football manager 2010.

I agree, Football Manager is way better than Championship Manager.

On the subject of Football Manager, are many people still playing Football Manager Live? and is it still being ruined by 460?

I re-signed up to FML about 5 weeks ago or so, after i came across a 4 month sub card in Asda for a tenner. I quit after having had a years sub from launch and just getting bored of it.

The game engine does seem a lot better now, injuries only apply to major matches (ie seniors league/cup) and rather than being for X hours, theyre now out for so many matches.

And I've yet to come across anyone using a 451 or 460 tactic, so they must've changed things around as by the time i quit originally half the GW was using a flat 451

Was gonna get this offer when it was last posted but found out it's only for the PC version and I needed the Mac one, I'll stick to Football Manager which as mentioned previously is a much better game.

Just been shown a promo code to get 2 teams for the price of 1

Make's it an even better deal - might want to update the title?
#13
you dont even get last seasons teams you the seasons before teams. As you have to pay and extra £5 to update the teams to last seasons.

I loved the old cm games and I keep hearing bad reports about this one, however now it is free with something I would have paid for anyway it can only be hot hot hot.

the old ones were great, the eidos got greedy, Sports Interactive (who actually make the game) jumped ship to SEGA and produced the Football Manager series. Eidos got to keep the brand name, SI kept the game code and resources.

Subsuquent years have clearly shown who got the better of the deal!
