This is thanks to ellenw's post a few days ago - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/new-rihanna-reb-l-fleur-eau-de-parfum-for-women-30ml-7-ebay-tesco-outlet-2542776?p=29143385

Tesco ebay has some £8.50 fragrances 3 for 2 (which comes to £14).

I had read good things about the newer Yardley Signature/Premium fragrances, mostly aimed at younger customers. Tesco has Yardley Polaire and Jade (a dead ringer for Chanel Cristalle, apparently) in this offer which gets rave reviews from Fragranticans.

Yardley Jade is the better offer, £8.50 for a Gift Set with 75ml Body Lotion, 75ml Body Wash & 50ml EDT. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351810766841

Yardley Polaire is £8 for the 50ml EDT. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/401171162929

Yardley Jade: "Fruity, aromatic green top notes of peach, bergamot and galbanum blend with an airy floral bouquet heart of rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang and orris, delicately wrapped up in base notes of patchouli, sandalwood and moss."
I've read numerous places this is a dupe for Chanel Cristalle! Such as here http://iscentyouaday.com/2014/05/13/yardley-jade-a-welcome-deja-vu/

Yardley Polaire: "Top notes are pear and freesia; middle notes are rose, ginger and pink pepper; base notes are amber, patchouli and resins."
"....remarkably similar to Penhaligon's Iris Prima", says Fragrantican starlakid.
Apparently Yardley's first "premium fragrance" http://www.simply-woman.com/yardley-polaire-new-fragrance-launch-and-review/

Yardley Jade also won Best New Select Fragrance in the Pure Beauty Awards 2014. http://www.cosmeticsbusiness.com/news/article_page/pure_beauty_awards__fragrance/101217

"Yardley London has always put fine fragrance within the reach of everyone. But new, contemporary fragrances have recently been introduced which really have the perfume world sitting up and taking notice.

It began with Yardley London Polaire, a truly stunning chypre (from that most sophisticated of fragrance families).

Yardley London Daisy – inspired by Catherine Middleton (now Duchess of Cambridge) – has itself been elevated from the ranks of ‘special edition’ to the permanent collection, with its dewy-fresh green notes, conjuring up flower-filled meadows.

Retro-inspired Jade – which is also a chypre – introduces itself through fruity, aromatic green notes, before a floral heart, and a base that enfolds you in sandalwood, patchouli and moss.

But that’s not all: Yardley London Diamond, a sparkling and uplifting floral bouquet and originally launched to commemorate the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and the Olympics has been reintroduced in this ‘Signature’ collection."

The Yardley Jade Gift Set is £12.99 at Allbeauty http://www.allbeauty.com/1177273-yardley-jade-eau-de-toilette-spray-50ml-body-wash-75ml-body-lotion-75ml

Iscentyouaday's review of Yardley Jade compares it favourably to Cristalle EDP http://iscentyouaday.com/2014/05/13/yardley-jade-a-welcome-deja-vu/

"Whilst having a quick browse around Boots today between errands, I came across a perfume I hadn’t seen before: Yardley Jade...by the time I reached the exit, I was thinking “Hmm. Chanel Cristalle. I bet that phase won’t last.” Yet here I am, three hours later, and it still smells as if I am wearing Chanel Cristalle.

...I was in an exclusive relationship with Chanel Cristalle for nearly twenty years, with occasional forays into temporary favourites. Green, light and floral, Cristalle is paradoxically no lightweight, with its Oakmossy finish and long lasting Galbanum touches.

It’s looking as if Jade by Yardley is singing the same song, but, as you might imagine, for a fraction of the price. I’m never without a bottle of Cristalle and on a wrist to wrist experiment, there was very little in it. Jade claims to have Peaches, but thankfully, I can smell none. Both open with Bergamot. Both perfumes have that translucent green feel to them, with a hint of fresh, clean hyacinth, and both have a mossy finish.

...The current price for Yardley Jade is £7.99 for a 50ml EDT in Boots. The current price for Chanel Cristalle EDT is £49 for a 60ml EDT. (I felt it was only fair to compare like with like, although I tested Jade alongside the Cristalle EDP not EDT).

So there you have it. I wish Yardley had invented this during the period of my life when I couldn’t afford Cristalle, but better late than never."

This one Makeupalley review (bit unfair giving it 3 stars because they prefer "heavier scents") compares Jade to Cristalle EDT https://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=170709/Jade/Yardley/Fragrances

"Very like Cristalle edt imho. Although peach is listed as a note it has not got the dominant presence it has in Cristalle edp. Jade is light, fresh and zingy with a darker, mossy base. The patchouli is a whisper. Staying power is about as good, or bad as the Chanel but at such a low price respraying is no problem. Would not repurchase as I like heavier scents even in Summer. But all in all this is pretty good. Listed notes: Top notes are peach, bergamot and galbanum; middle notes are rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang and orris root; base notes are patchouli, sandalwood and moss."

But for £4.66 for the body wash, lotion and scent it's worth a try!

I ordered 2 of the Jade Gift Sets and the Polaire - they've just arrived. Tesco actually sent me a Polaire Gift Set - with Body Lotion as well as the perfume! The Jade does smell like Cristalle! I paid £14 for all 3 - £4.66 per set. Bargain!! :)

I bought mine the night before I posted this Deal (though of course I read ellenw's thread first) and mine hasn't arrived :p

I love Chanel (except No5 - which I can't stand. L'eau has that same No5 sour "pong" that makes me hate it though it's more citrus-y in the beginning).

Allure Sensuelle is my favourite perfume of all time. I look forward to trying this Cristalle dupe!! If you use the wash, lotion and perfume as layers of the scent together, it should make it last even longer.

That's great you got the Polaire set! Wish I'd ordered it now - what did you think of it dpmcm21? Must admit I don't come across the Yardley scents much in department stores (unless I'm just not looking hard enough) - Yardley for me is usually the scent you find in chemists.

Got mine this morning. Wow! It has that citrus zing, with a subtle sweetness. I love it! Not sure how longevity will be but we'll see. Can't compare it to Cristalle as I've never tried it but will make a point of having a test in Boots next time. I have Cristalle Eau Verte which is a lemon bomb and doesn't really smell like Cristalle at all.

Can see this becoming one of my new favourites! I tend to obsess over florientals so this is a nice change.

Oh that's a shame, was a bargain at £14 for 3! Been wearing Jade for the last few days.

Edit: There's been a few price changes -

The Miffy Gift Set is £6.50 (was £7)

Yardley Polaire is £6.50 (was £7)

The Jade Gift Set is £8.50 (was £7)

A few other gift sets are £6.50. Some have went up, some went down!
