Brill books - very funny.

I am half way through reading this, I picked it up a couple of weeks ago from HMV at the very honest price of £3. The book is brilliant, as soon as I read his alternative ending to Ricky leaving Albert Square within the first few pages, I knew I was in for a treat

the review of sharon osbourne on the x factor and her comments to shane ward (in the 2nd book) is THE funniest thing i've ever read

Both instore at all locations at £3 (all HMVs that I have seen - 3 x Central London, Chelmsford, Southend, Lakeside)

Very good books - funny, smart, fast, easy to dive into etc. but a word of advice - be careful about how these books will affect you if you are like me. I read both books in about 3 weeks (whilst commuting and at lunch) and became so angry at everyone and anything I was almost unbarable. It was like Charlie got under my skin and started to control me!

Still reccomended though!

Excellent! I'm off to order this. Brooker is an incredibly funny chap.

Thank you

Both of those Brooker books are ace. There's also 'Never Hit a Jellyfish With a Spade' for £3 and 'Where's Bin Laden?' for £4. A few books on there that're cheaper than everywhere else but don't show up on book price comparison sites.

Thanks. Been waiting to get this cheaply for a while. Almost done with the Dawn of the Dumb book which I'm enjoying (despite the Big BRother content)

Charlie Brooker is hilarious and clever! Anyone been watching his Screenwipe and Newswipe programmes on BBC Three?
#13
one of the best comedians on tv, my type of humour.........ordered one of each, screenwipe and newswipe are genius tv
#14
Ordered, love his tv shows must be worth reading for £3.

Just thought you'd like to know that since this deal has been featured, the book has moved up one place in the HMV popularity chart, overtaking "Jade:Fighting to the End". I hope I've not taken food off her kids plates.

It says 21 days for stock to come in. Is this standard with hmv?

Normally means that they've sold out on the website mate. You could try the store where it's £3 too.
