On offer again. ASDA have offered this for a little less pre Budget but most of the time it really does sell at £14.46.
Description from the bottle:
Chateaunef Du Pape is the most well known Cru from the Cotes du Rhone. The blend combines more than 9 varietals but the main part of the assemblage is done with Grenache and Syrah.
Taste: Strong fruits on the palate with hints of spice followed by a long and elegant finish.
Can be kept for 3 to 5 years.
I have read somewhere that 2009 was supposed to be a very good year for French wines.
