"Simplicity is of the essence with this classic style ridge tent. It's easy to carry and a cinch to pitch, making it ideal for backpackers. The single skin is polyester with a polyethylene groundsheet and sturdy steel poles".

i was in asda earlier & noticed they had a 2 man tent for £4.99 they also had one for £9.99 but i cant remember what size that one was

Just remember that single skin tents are in general quite bad for letting the water in if it rains. I'd always stump up the extra few quid for a double skinned one.

Tesco do a 2 skinned 3 man tent for £19.99 and a 2 man for about £14.99

much better tents, they are the dome type.

You'll appreciate how much didn't spend on this tent when the heavens open....not that's camping.

Its not usually water being let in, its the condensation from your heavy snoring all night :) I spent nearly 20 years of my life camping in one practically the same as that (it was a Vango though lol)

These tents are fine so long as you dont touch it from the inside if its wet. If you go for a tent with an inner, go for one with a cotton inner rather than nylon and you wont suffer from the condensation problem

edit - voted hot because theyre now only £7.49 now :)
