The new iMac was just released in the last couple of weeks so I'm guessing this is why these are reduced
#2
Why the cold vote? Seems like a decent price to me.
#3
These are very very good prices for iMac.

These are truly remarkable prices for best of breed computers. I wouldn't hesitate to pick one up at these prices while stock remains. These iMacs are magical and revolutionary all-in-one computers that nobody can beat.

Is this retailer reputable?

I have never bought on-line from them, but used the Hull store and would highly recomend. They have 8 stores Nationwide, might be possible to collect from store?

WOW, Great price. I've been bidding more than these prices on eBay over the last week. That's it, I'm in and the missus is going to kill me!
Thank's OP good find!
PS I called the Doncaster store and they will not take delivery to store. Th chap informed me these are clearance items as they are last years model.

Wow, those are some great deals.

how much does the 899 model usually cost?

Wow that's cheap.

These machines have LED-lit IPS panels, not the normal rubbish stuff. Looking at monitors alone, the cheapest 27" IPS I can find (Dell) costs £650. So £899 for a whole computer of this quality is a bargain.

These are the OLD iMacs - however still very good devices. all iMacs now come with at least i5 processors, so the presence of i3s here would mean that they are last year's models.
#16
very tempting. My iMac could do with upgrading.
#17
£900 for a 27" imac - amazing price!
#18
The £999 was the one to get. I ordered three for ebay. I should make an easy £600 on these.
#19
Managed to get the very last £999 so it seems...

#21
Can't afford one... really want one... must... leave.... the credit card alone!
#22
all gone... and i got an email saying i missed out on the 999 one, bloody hell.
#23
I love my 27" iMac. Shame I payed twice the price for a refurb as these listed :o (It was still worth it though ;) )
#24
Personally I don't like OSX (I used it as my primary OS for a year for app development) never understood the hype.

However, considering the screen alone is worth almost this much it's definitely a great price, voted hot! If they weren't out of stock I'd probably have bought one (but removed OSX :p)

Would prefer to buy a mac that can open 20 apps at once in less than 5 seconds! Wonder when Apple will make the move to SSD only in its iMacs...

That's the same panel as the the Apple display, for only £380. Much cheaper than Apple's £900 offering, don't you think? :) The only difference is one has an Apple on it and the other one doesn't.

On topic of the iMac, yes they're pretty decent value, but they use laptop parts and are non-upgradeable. If you want a new computer, you have to get rid of the screen too! So the cost will build up over time. If you plan on keeping this FOREVER then it's a good deal :)

Great deal.

I compared the Hazro 27" glass display to the iMac and ran out of the store laughing. It might be the same panel but they've done something to make the colour reproduction utterly appalling. You get what you pay for. The Dell and Apple displays that cost between £700-£900 are worth the extra cost.

I highly doubt that with ebay paypal and postage fees :)

Seek medical help, it's not good when you're running out of stores laughing.

Magical? They run on electricity if you've heard of that stuff and they were made by humans. Revolutionary? The OS is built on a Unix variant with a customised graphical user interface, there's nothing revolutionary about them, they do the job that they were designed to do extremely well. I don't mind Macs at all but I also don't like the superior nonsense these macophiles spout out. Nothing wrong with this deal apart from some silly comments. Please post examples of Macs doing magical and revolutionary things.
