I agree the 3D effect is very much suited to the film 2012. It really enhances the experience.

I bought my 3d tv/blu ray player in 2011.

The walk was a great film (based on the true story of an annoying Frenchman) probably great in 3d

There is a documentary but I can`t find it at the moment

Surprised it took a full 5 minutes for the first anti-3D post to appear.

I used to wonder what the hoo Haa was about 3d having seen it on a friends tv and thought it was 'ok' but I recently purchased a UHD tv which has 3d and the difference is staggering between watching 3d on hd to uhd even through a standard blu-ray machine. 4x the resolution so the 50% of pixels you lose in each 3d lens is unnoticeable combined with the pixels being 4x smaller in theory, means ghosting is virtually gone, the faster refresh makes fast sequences no longer a blur. I'm currently replacing my bluray collection for 3d bluray so heat added :) and I wish I could extra heat for saving me the 'legwork' 8)
