Anyone used these? Whats the quality like?

Quality is good for normal prints, for the price it's excellent value. I have only had 6x4 but at this price I will try the bigger size.
#3
Great price - certainly worth a try...

Used these in the past for poster prints! £7.79 for a 20x30cm print! Used these for weddings and corporate events, and the quality is very good! Love using them, and not to mention its 3-4 days delivery!

Worth a go, 100 free and flat rate 3-4 day delivery alone is tidy. But 34p for a 8x12 is great!
#16
Great thanks

Thanks OP :)

Cheers OP , will give this a go .

Aye, picture is misleading. I excitedly clicked on this deal hoping for super-cheap big canvas prints. Now my face looks like this... :-(

Good deal! Might be the same at Lidl, as i think they're the same company? This website has a list of free photo print deals, might be helpful.

Anyone used these? Whats the quality like?

Am I being stuipid here....cos I thought the quality depends on the quality (i.e. megapixels) of your camera?

............Unless of course you were talking about the quality of the paper (_;)

Thanks OP, heat added.

Photo quality has very very very little to do with the number of megapixels your camera has. It is 95% to do with lighting and photography skills.

Sorry to nitpick, but i have to agree, that pic is VERY misleading.

They do poster sized prints, but nothing close to the size pictured.

Was kinda peeved when I wasted time trudging the site looking for those super-jumbo-sized prints, before realising the maximum size (poster print) is 50 x 75cm, which is far from jumbo-sized :(
#26
Yeah, I'll agree... it is misleading.
#27
Nothing to stop you making poster sized prints , just send them 20 photos , or whatever it takes , to make it all up as multiple A4 size !

Did people really think that you would get a 3 metre by 1metre canvas print for 34p? also it says clearly in the description what the deal is.

Have now changed the title as well.

:D

Thank you! I didn't order the A4 sized photos, but took advantage of the 100 free snaps. :)
#30
Thank you so much for this deal just ordered a bucket load of prints! Does anyone know how fast Aldi generally are when it comes to delivery?

The quality is fine. I've been using Aldiphotos for years. This isn't really a deal as this is their normal price, not an offer. The best part is their exceeding low cost poster sized 20x30 INCH prints - bargain!
#32
great thanks

Surely, in a way, that makes it an even better deal? Its just much cheaper than everywhere else all the time. I get your point tho. Good tip on the posters as well.
#34
Just ordered mine. Thanks :p Heat added.

I uploaded 100 photos , my order now states 89 copies .

Anyone experienced deleted or non processed photos ?
#36
Used them for a photo book - quality was passable, but definitely inferior to dedicated developers I'd used previously: blemishes on the prints and disappointing saturation.

Just wanted to post here and say that I received my Aldi 100 free photos yesterday. Lovely quality, and very true colours.

Unlike my Jessops free photos which I received today. I have put one particular photo that I have on the computer into each free set so I have a proper comparison. I would recommend anyone to do the same. The Jessops photos are very dark and yellow. Not nice at all, not impressed. This is particularly bad on older pics which have a very slightly yellow tone anyway. The Aldi ones don't have this at all.

good advice cheers. Glad it worked out well for you as well.

It's a good deal, but I'm a bit confused about the A4 sized prints. Do they print them to fill a whole A4 page or do they leave a border round them?

Also, what's all this about?

"Standard print sizes are based on prints produced from film which uses a 2:3 aspect ratio. Digital cameras were originally designed to show images on screen and so the photograph ratio is 3:4. This means that when you print a digital photograph you have 2 choices:"

https://asp.photoprintit.de/microsite/12849/customers/12849/live/images/formats.jpg

I just want them to print my photos exactly as they look on my computer screen!

Also, what's all this about?

If you are using digital prints then to keep all of the picture then you need to choose digital prints (3:4 ratio) figure a above, which are less than 6x4.

If you pick standard 6x4 prints then they crop the picture top and bottom figure b above.
