O NO not ANOTHER CHEAP laser printer.
Why would anyone want to by one of these when you can get an loverly INKJET that will cost you 20 times a much to run and constantly run out of ink, make banding marks over your printouts and generally not doing what you expect it to and take just to damn long to print after its spent minute cleaning its head and emptying the cartridges
And you expect me to add heat -WTF!

After reading this: "Set of compatible cartridges is about £40" I was tempted too buy this printer. Then, in the real world, I found even a set of (4) re-manufactured cartidges is around £150!! A set of originals is over £200. If you want to mess about refilling your catridges it might be not far off that £40. I'll pass, though.

Gutted!! I took the advice of bike74 and brought one thinking compatible cartridge at £40 perfect!

But then looked into what you said and your right £100+ for the cartridges. Now I gotta cancel the order.

@Bike74 - your a loser and a liar proper douche bag! Cannot find the cartridges anywhere for that price!

I still think this is a good(ish) deal, except I think I only paid £29 for the printer a few months ago.

I was using inkjet printers before buying this and used them so infrequently that the ink cartridges used to dry out or get used up priming the printer every time I used the thing, so I was only getting a fraction of the number of pages I should be getting and a set of cartridges for the Epson I was using cost £50+. Clones and refills always resulted in the printer claiming the cartridge was randomly not installed or the pages printing with missing lines.

I figured when the "1000 page" toner cartridges that came with the printer started to run out I'd either just buy another printer or just buy colours as the run out - found them on fleebay for around £30 each.

If you look around decent compatible cartridges are indeed about £75 there are cheaper but... I Have an hp all in one where original ink set is about £50 and lasts for max 500 pages. Tonner here is said to last for 1500 that's already that's £150. I had ricoh delivered today and admittedly picture quality print is stunning! I don't regret this purchase.
