Cheap week in Oludeniz (TURKEYS NICEST RESORT) in May 2017. Various airports available but prices vary from one to the other! This deal is for the Marcan beach hotel all inclusive for 1 week going out on 13th May from Gatwick. £100 will be a guide price. With icelolly there is normally baggage charges etc to add in. but still a bargain. You probably will pay more just for flights. So to get the hotel and food and drink included is great. The hotel is around 200 yds from oludeniz's famous beach and right on the main street so all the shops and bars etc are easily accessible. Weather will be mid to high 20's average but May has been known to be 30 +. So...what you waiting for?

Great price and all that but I'm sure there are many holidaymakers who said their favourite resort was wonderful and safe as houses until there was a problem - there is a first time for everything, and I would not want to be in certain countries when that first time actually happens.
The percentage chances are low I agree, but the political situation in Turkey right now would make me very wary.
I've met loads of nice Turkish people all through Eastern Europe, trouble was that many of them thought they still ruled those countries, and sent their kids to school with Turkish as a first language, meaning the teachers had to focus on teaching them the language of the country to the detriment of the others in the class - rather arrogant if you ask me.

Company has been going since 2005, I have used them previously and had no problems.....HOT from me

Olu Deniz has a great location and is a very chilled out place to be, great if you want to try paragliding (which is very reasonably priced (£30-£40) and offers great views on the way down). The beach itself was a pebble beach, so not the best for me, but well worth it for this sort of money.

olu deniz is BEAUTIFUL! I went paragliding there.. pebbles are a let down but lots to see and do anyway so no need to sit on beach haha xx totally a bargain at that price and its a perfect temp in May!

Went to Oludeniz a few years ago after reading how this resort is better than places like Marmaris and Bodrum .
In my opinion it was exactly the same only smaller. A good price and voted hot for those who like Turkey.

30 quid for a paragliding session is a bit steep!!! Sounds like you either got robbed or have money to burn!

just be careful to look at whrre your hotel is as some places sell as oludeniz but it is in ovecik (spelling is wrong) and its miles.. but just had a look and you can go from newcastle to olu in May from 126 (to the close end where u want to be) ... well worth it!!

Nicest resort? Sceptical about that claim, it's just the same as Marmais etc with full English breakfasts and a cheap pints. Beach isn't great, apart from the view from above when paragliding. However for £100 you really can't go wrong for some early summer sunshine.
Best option is to get a dolmus out of town or ferry taxi to one of the beach coves such as Kabak. Stunning places and great food.

Personally I think Side (pronounced Cee-day) is a much nicer resort than any of those mentioned so far. A proper sandy beach and great hotels but as a result, tends to be a bit more expensive.

Beach isnt great?

the beach in the cove is amazing, lovely sand with crystal clear waters. you obviously not been to the right place.
Ole deniz is a great destination, nothing like marmaris.

The holidays rarely exist, at the price advertised. Be prepared to add on an extra £200 per person, or have **** flying times, making it a five day holiday instead of seven days.
#19
It doesn't really feel like a holiday when you're going to a place that has only British tourists. They've even changed everything for us lol. I went Marmaris recently and couldn't even find any Turkish cuisine, all I could find was fish and chips, pizza, etc.

I won a holiday I'm taking precisely one week after this also leaving from Gatwick.

So maybe I can do this first, fly back to Gatwick, find the next gate the same day and then fly out on this other holiday. That would actually be pretty good lol

Actually it's about £60, but he doesn't just mean a line on a speed boat. Google oludeniz paragliding.

We went to Turkey earlier this year and stayed at this hotel.
It's small and very basic. On our first night I was a bit shocked as our balcony overlooked the busy strip and we asked to be moved. However the owners assured us it all dies down at 11pm and sure enough he was right.
The all inclusive is not 24hour and the hotel bar closes at 11. There is a bar at the front of the hotel, outside and you are able to get a discount there as hotel guests.
The beach is lovely. Hotel food is great. Hospitality second to none.
Don't expect the ritz and you won't be disappointed.
We had an incredible time.

Marcan is in Hisaronu not oludeniz however a nice family hotel. you will need a minibus (dolmus) to get to the beach.

It actually seems that there are dozens of options for Turkey around this price. I've just done a search on all resorts flying into Dalaman, in May, from any Midlands airport and there are loads around the £100 mark, though not all of them are all-inclusive board basis.

This could well be a reflection of the political situation in Turkey at the moment and the tour operators lack of confidence that either this will change or that people will still choose to book Turkey. I was in Fethiye thsi summer and the place was dead compared to how it would usually be at that time of year. Very sad. Plus no Russians, who brought a lot of tourism to Turkey in recent year.

Personally, I'd feel comfortable to book Turkey, but then I'm a bit more familiar with it than most. Keep an eye on the (all too regular) notifications/alerts from the Foreign Office about bombs and such like in the major cities.

I've been a couple of times and have to admit the beach isn't great, the main beach is shingle, and the 'cove' as you put it is the lagoon section which has a man made beach... you have to pay for this and I didn't think it was that great compared to other beaches you could go to on a cheap holiday. The resort itself is nice though, i'd say more for couples than families. I've stayed at the Villa Beldeniz that was simple but good.

The beach is nothing special and that applies to most beaches in Turkey.
If a nice beach is important to you Greece is a better option.

Went to Oludeniz in August and sadly I was less than impressed. A bit like Blackpool in the sun. Sunsets on the the beach were stunning though. Each to his own though, personally I prefer Kas or Kalkan.

This is definitely oludeniz. Right across from Josephs restaurant on the main street. I've been to oludeniz 6 times. I certainly know where the hotels are!

you have to pay for sunbeds yes, but just like you do on most beaches.

great deals for turkey to be had in may by looking around yourself. this website is rubbish as when you call the company it's never the advertised price. I found cheap flights (£100 return each) and very cheap all inclusive hotels (less than £12 per person per night)
