You can get a basic cheap laptop from this site with discounts if you are on certain benefits. May not be the best spec but would suit first time users or children. I think it would be worth phoneing and asking questions before buying to check its right for you as these are all refurbished.

You'd be better off on schtrade - they have laptops for less that are dual core

It is a good deal as you get windows 7. So useful and easy to use for some people.

realblender you being serious mate, are you just saying that for a reaction? IF YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT COMPUTERS PEOPLE DO NOT BUY THIS EVEN IF IT GOES HOT.

honestly its not being nasty about the op but it would be unfair on other users if you dont point this out.

He knows plenty LOL

no wifi, no brand even stated. i feel bad if the op has actually payed hard earned money for this.

I would just like to point out, that i posted basic and first time users. Also to phone & ask questions, the spec said minimum.I haven't bought this deal as i would be looking for something better but for people who may not have lots of money or for a young child i thought this could possiblly be useful.

Them specs are shocking.
Varnor#13
There are some old PC's still on the network where I work with specs like that, and they struggle to do basic work related tasks, don't bother, the build dates of our machines are dated 2006

If anything I'd say that company is playing on people who don't know anything about PC's
