Lots of bargains May/June time, booked another for 2 nights in Salou in June for £32 for the 2 of us too.

Also got flights with Ryanair for a fiver each return.

So 2 x 2 night breaks for £33 and £21 each, can't be bad

I cannot find any that are available at all! I have tried different dates, different places and none of them are available.

Book a Eurocamp instead - they have a 50% off sale at the moment and would work out alot cheaper

Ah thank you, I must have not been looking properly or looking in the wrong section.

They really do have some amazing deals, I am looking in May and June and they have half board, 4t hotels for us two and our toddler for around £200 for a week, then can get flights for around £120 so £320 for a 1 week half board holiday, pretty good in my opinion. Thank you, hopefully we will have a nice cheap holiday thanks to this post, you may have saved me a few hundred pounds so definately voting hot hot hot.

I usually book holidays separately rather than as a package cause I save a fortune (Good seeing as I go away every month!)

I find www.skyscanner.net the best for flight comparisons especially if you're flexible on dates cause you can put in the whole month or even year and find the cheapest price, you can also search to fly from any airport in the UK if you don't mind travelling, and can put any airport as the destination if you don't mind where you go.

There are lots of cheap hotel websites too, a few I can think of are Thomson (currently) laterooms, alpharooms, hotels.com, lowcostbeds. I've used all of these and never had any problems.

Also if you find a hotel you like, if you put it into tripadvisor it will search 6 companies and give you all their prices.

Visa Electron is great for booking Ryanair flights as they do not charge a booking fee for using it. I booked to fly to Reus airport for 2 people, with Electron card it was £10 but with a regular debit card it would have been £30. I think the card is usually for people with poor credit or teenagers but anyone can get one, I applied for mine through Halifax and it's called Easy Cash.

Ive just done a test on the holiday to Ibiza I want - it was £520 PPPW as a package and £400 PPPW seperate, all in - flight, hotel, transfers etc etc.

The funniest thing..? The flight and the hotel were both on thomson! Therefore its actually cheaper to have a 100% thomson holiday by purchasing the components!

I went to Turkey last year and booked everything through Thomson. Surprisingly, I also found booking flights and accommodation separately was cheaper than booking as a package holiday through Thomson !!! I couldn't understand why ....
