Comet are selling this HP D1460 INKJET PHOTOPRINTER for just £14.67
I've checked a few reviews and it seems a good little printer, especially at this price.

Comes with starter ink cartridges, replacement cartridges can be brought for £6.95 - £8.95

Bought one myself at least 12 months ago at that price (or around abouts, not worth arguing about).

It gave up within 6 months, and with very little use. I'ld avoid it.

Picked myself up a scanner/copier/photo printer recently (HP F2280) from Staples a month or two back for 30 quid. That's more of a bargain.

Nice find flumpy old bean

These printers are sold at cost or less so that the manufacturer can profit from the cartridges. That said if cheaper 3rd party cartridges can be bought this is a good deal

it will probably take 5ml cartridges which lasted me about 500 pages of random printing with quite a bit of colour ink used. I bought a re filler pack for £10 which had something like 25ml of each colour so basicaly 5-8 times as much ink as hp originals but the printing wasn't 100%, great for drafts and most stuff. bought a 3rd party black this time for about £7 and its perfect, hp packs are so cheap anyway though if u know where to get em from!

OOS pretty much everywhere! :-(

Been looking for a little printer too1

I got this and took it back. The ink lasted no time at all even the second cartridge (less than 100 pages of black and white). With very little use it started chewing up the paper (which was the correct HP paper before you ask). I'd avoid it, as audioslim says, for £30 you can get an all in one.

This does a fine job for simple quick printing, but if you are low on ink be warned - it flashes a warning up about it continually with a sound effect, and the only way to stop it is to restart your system or buy new ink. Highly frustrating and annoying as it completely freezes your computer and makes you unable to work as the pop up screen is in the way. For this reason I would not recommend, not even at this price, as it is so frustrating.

check the price of the ink refills before you buy, most time they cost more then the printer...

Not hard to do when the printers only £14 :-D
Been using it a few weeks now still on the starter cartrdges

New cartridges for this printer are cheap, it only takes two and you can
pick them up from tescos for under £10 each.........
my old printer took 4 cartridges costing £20-£25 each, and tbh this printers just as good.
