Are all the Beijing flights thru Fraknkfurt on a A380? I can't see where it mentions the aircraft type. Wud like to take a ride on one of these.
#2
Flights through MUC are NOT on A380. If you go to the LH website, check for a 'A380' tag on the flight number. If you click on the flight number, you will see the aircraft type.

Note that Lufthansa don't charge a cc fee if you use PayPal

Good price.

Watch out if you travel from Manchester. The return flight will be either incredibly late @2230hrs, so you will have to take a cab or book a hotel that would be extra £50-150, or you may have to stay in Munich airport for a day to take the next day's early flight

how much usually it is to fly to china then?

£450-600. Sale is rare during holiday period when every single student is going home.
Effectively £343 = about £70 + airport tax

Great deal. Brother has just moved to Singapore, might be worth a visit!
#9
I'm sure most people realise that Singapore is quite a long way from China. Perhaps the title of the deal should be amended to include Singapore if you want to attract more interest...
#10
Just compared a few of the flights with lufthansa.com and they were exactly the same price.

Have a look at this http://www.lufthansa.com/uk/en/worldwide-flight-offers

It leaves Munich at 22.30? Trains will still be running that late (unless you need to get quite far away from Manchester I guess).

Sorry I mean it will arrive at Manchester at 22.35. In my case there is definitely no train to Preston.
Cheap train ticket in advance = £6, Cab = £80, Metered taxi =£150

There's a train leaving the airport at 00.01 - that should give plenty of time.

£65 for a tourist visa is ridiculous. I was going to go to Russia this summer but their visa is £100 so I took Russia out of the trip.

Great price - and same on Lufthansa's website. Use them to see a calendar matrix view of outgoing and incoming flights so you can easily spot the cheapest days around your preferred travel days.

If you are thinking 'Do I go to Beijing or Shanghai?', go for Shanghai. Much better.

I booked some flights to South Africa via Frankfurt, last week. The Frankfurt to Jo'burg leg allowed me to pick seats during the booking, however the London - Frankfurt seats were un-allocated.
Afterwards I went to the website and tried to check-in for the London - Frankfurt flight, and was told that it was too early, but was then told that the flights were fully flexible, and showed me seats for the next available flight! So it may be possible to rebook the UK to Germany legs without penalty.

What dates are you getting the £343.00 price for?
#23
I am getting Fare (per person) 315.00 Taxes, fees and charges (per person) 417.88 = £732.88, why are the Taxes, fees and charges much move expensive than the actual ticket?
Certainly not seeing the so called £343.00 ticket prices.
