That's an absolutely amazing price on Jarre in China. Not his best concert (I still love Chronologie - saw it live too!) but still very good, predictably great sound quality.

My dad is obsessed with Neil Young, I'll have to tell him about that one...

Edi! How could you miss out Peter Gabriel - what a price!

*argh, what's wrong with the site - I can't make payment*

Great find! Bought the Eagles for my dad, xmas shopping already! Got if for a bargain £4.99. Thanks!
#4
Problem solved... The site is experiencing some heavy traffic, that's all :)

£2.99 for Peter Gabriel: Live and Unwrapped is frankly an absurd price.
He's my favourite artist - only one more of his DVD's left to buy now.

Probably CD-Wow needs all the money they could make to pay the millions they have been fined by the court for selling cheap CDs imported from the Middle east! They recently lost a court trial and by the looks of things they may need to up their prices or go out of business! http://www.inthenews.co.uk/entertainment/news/buisness/cd-wow-fined-over-illegal-imports-$1068847.htm

Nice one edi, gonna go for Neil Young: Heart Of Gold

Losing CDWow would be an absolute tragedy. Yet junk like HMV Online will continue to live on...
I remember the original rulings taking place, and in my opinion CDWow CD prices are pretty much inline with all the budget online CD retailers. They're certainly not head and shoulders above everyone else these days.

Thanks for this - have gone for Jean Michel Jarre for my husband. :)
#9
 Nice One

Just ordered

Jean Michel Jarre: Jarre In China (3 Disc Set)
Jean Michel Jarre: Solidarnosc Live - Collector Edition (DVD + CD)

True, it has an extremely tasty DTS track and Mr Jarre is quite the 5.1 fan.
#13

#14
Some goodies in there :) Thanks edi!

Very tempting choices too.

 Lovely job - taking me back to my teenage years - used to be a bit of a Jarre geek - still quality music - good find.

I'm thinking about ordering the Jean Michel Jarre: Solidarnosc Live DVD but i notice the encoding is NTSC. Even though the DVD is region free will this still play on a PAL tv or do I need a tv that supports NTSC? As far as I'm aware, NTSC signals played on a PAL tv will be in black and white unless your tv supports NTSC.

That is correct, it will be black and white unless played on an NTSC compatible TV connected using RGB scart/HDMI/Component. Solidarnosc has only been released in NTSC colour.

My Jarre in China and Peter Gabriel: Still Growing Up orders have been delayed;-) Expected despatch 27th of March.

Hmmm, I ordered 4 of these music DVD's.

The Prodigy: Their Law - The Singles 1990 To 2005
Jean Michel Jarre: Solidarnosc Live - Collector Edition
Peter Gabriel: Still Growing Up - Live And Unwrapped
Eagles: Farewell Tour - Live In Melbourne

I too have received the 'Awaiting Stock' email for ALL of them.

Does anyone else get the sinking feeling we won't be receiving these?
#29
I ordered 6 of them , 4 delayed , 2 on the way .
#30
ordered 3
got out of stock for 2
looks like taking orders before the stock arrived hmmmmm
#31
I'm obviously being totally thick but how do you make an order? I can't see how to do it, desperatly want to order JMJ's Made in China. I can put it on my wishlist but where do I go from there? Help please!!!
#32
Just got despatch e-mail confirmations about the elton john and eagles dvds i ordered from them!
#33
Has anyone had trouble with the CD-Wow website yesterday and this morning? I can't seem to pull up my orders to view - sign in, and two screens later I'm asked to sign in again. Also, I can't seem to put anything in my basket, let alone use any of the discount vouchers on HDUK. They're not going under already, are they?? I ordered two music DVDs last week, and they went through OK. I think one is on its way.
#34
Did anyone who received these items notice the customs value on their package ?
I received my delayed items today and the customs value was half the price advertised at that was confirmed by email.

Either they put a lower value on the pack than I paid - which is naughty as far as customs are concerned OR they refunded half to me because of the delay - which I haven't been able to check yet.
Anyone else ???

My Pixies DVD arrived this morning, great buy for only £2!

cheers!

You wont have anything refunded.

Cd-wow always put a low value on every item for the customs value. I always assumed that they marked it with their 'cost price'.

That'll teach me - Jarre in China now back up to £16.75 :-(
