try http://www.cartridgeworld.org/ they have lots of branches all over the place

Much more expensive in the long run compared to an Epson due to the cost of ink. Epson are only around £5 for a full set of compatibles.

Not voting as it's upto each person on how much they want to pay for ink and the initial cost of the printer is good. Just expensive once you factor in ink.

Syzable is only pointing out the potential whole life cost so buyers are aware of the total price invloved in running this printer, why such a cheesy remark from you ?

We bought this last year from Argos for the same price but took it back after a few weeks because it was faulty. The cartridges were tricky to get hold of as hardly anywhere stocks them altho there is a list on the printer to point you in the right direction.

Maybe we were just unlikely. It is a good price for a WiFi printer.

Good advice there mate, applies to printers too:whistling: :giggle:

ok ok......i think i got over excited as this was an excellent price for a wireless printer which does all the jobs for a very very low price............but i agree if your going to vote the 'total cost of running the printer' then it wont be voted hot.........but look how many cartridges you could buy at £20 each before you break even......???

1 cartridge a year and it would still be 3 yrs before you spend more than 100 quid........how much is the next cheapest wireless printer that comes close to this one???

Oh and it has bluetooth as well, so you can send pics straight from your mobile to the printer to print off!!!

Well my thinkning is (based on Lexmark experience), if you only used one cartridge a year it would dry out before the year was up. Also if you're doing that little printing wifi etc is overkill. Just a personal opinion.

feature wise, its awesome

if there was compatibles available for cheap, id defo go for this one

I'm afraid you have to factor in the price of running the printer when you purchase one. Just as you would with a nice car. As more and more people are printing photos, so you use more and more ink. I will always go for something like an epson, I know I can pick up compatible carts cheap.
#12
Good features but too pricey to run for me.
#13
it's actually cheaper to buy this to get the cartridges and bin the printer
