These are fine if you want a delivery thats not urgent as usually takes at least 5 days
#6
So a 6kg parcel with signature and compo up to £100 is gonna be over £9, not as cheap as Parcel2go I don't think

You sure? Getting Proof of Delivery is an extra 98p and standard Insurance is only £25.

Less cover than a stamp!?

I would say this is good for midrange weights (as long as £25 cover is enough), but if anyone thinks this service might be good for them, do a test first. They were unable to even quote me at my postcode....

I just found this in the T&C

A Parcel left in a safe place with a drop card shall be conclusive evidence of the delivery of the Parcel.

Therefore if it gets nicked from the 'safe place', the sender can't claim compensation

I use parcel2go for all my deliveries, their prices are roughly the same, only MyHermes are a hell of a lot cheaper on insuring your parcels, then again if you are not worried about insurance Parcel2go (using DHL) will allow you to deliver a 12kg parcel the nextd ay for less than a tenner.... (Using DHL Express 48 Hr Service, 9 out of 10 of my packages have been delivered the next day, including one from Newcastle to London)

I keep banging on about parcel2go but i wouldn't use them if they were free the worst company i have ever used,And yes i know its not them that actually do the delivering but wait till you need to claim no chance they don't want to know,Use them at your peril.

think hermes is the company la redoute uses to deliver their goods

PARCELMONKEY.CO.UK - COURIER DELIVERY FOR £5.90 UPTO 10KG (£1.00 BACK VIA QUIDCO) £6.90 Excl QUIDCO

This service says it is 3-4 days delivery, but i have sent 9 Parcels now and all have been delivered next day without any problems at all.
They also offer the SMS Service Free, so tells you when it has been picked up and delivered, when going thru the process, put your Mobile no in. Works a Treat!!

Excellent service and Uses DHL, the same as Parcel2go and others..
I feel it's Better & cheaper than Parcel2go with Quidco in there as a bonus, quid a time..

Go for it!!

Won't this just force more Post Offices to close? Keep the Post Office and use Royal Mail! :-)

It's all about competition, maybe if RM weren't so extornionate with their prices then we might use them a bit more, £20 special delivery for something that DHL charge £8, which would u use?? :?

I think they have lost a parcel I was returning for a refund but have just been holding for 30 mins on their customer service line and am now panicking as notice it's an 0871 line! Incidentally - I never got through to anyone in the end, just had music played continually!
