Hi, first post and currently sitting at work so my apologies for lack of pictures! Just popped into Gamestation in Nottingham and they had the following Wii games brand new, seemed cheap:

Zelda Twighlight Princess - £14.99

Mario Galaxy - £9.99
Mario & Sonic Summer Olympics - £9.99
Mario Party 8 - £14.99

Didn't get chance to see any others...

Amazing price for Mario Galaxy!!!
#2
Galaxy new for a tenner is good.
#3
good price for Mario Galaxy. I expect it to drop in price as Mario Galaxy 2 is coming out soon.
#4
Will drop by the Nottingham store later, Galaxy is a bargain for £9.99 and Mario & Sonic is well worth it at that price too!

great prices - perfect for the black wii coming on friday!
#6
Noticed yesterday that they are selling preowned Wii's at £99. Magic price point for some?
For some reason I find the idea of a second hand Wii quite grotty (perhaps it's visions of people sweating away to Wii Sports?).
#7
Does the Twilight hack still work? Good deal for Zelda if it does ;)
#8
OMG Mario Galaxy for a tenner!!! I paid £30 for it!! :x
Hot deal!
#9
Zelda £19.99 new same price I paid in argos

Galaxy £19.99 both on line...
should I rush into town ??
#10
Wow, I've been after Mario Galaxy for ages. Thank you :)
#11
They had mario & sonic at the olympics for £10 but didn't have any galaxy :-(

They had it pre owned for £15 which is still cheap

Had exactly the same at the Exeter store, for anyone thinking of checking in there.

Edit: or rather I should add, that's just with regard to Mario Galaxy. Didn't spot Mario&Sonic as wasn't looking to be honest, and just checked at the counter about Galaxy after only spotting a pre-owned copy on the shelves.

Twilight hack doesn't work for any firmware above 3.4, but there are better (and less fiddly) hacks than that available now anyway.
#14
Do you know how many copies of Mario Galaxy they had left in Nottingham? My sisters at Uni there, I might ask her to get it for me.
#15
i was in birmingham and they had these but they were second hand not brand new! good deal if they are brand new, i was tempted with them being second hand!

What other hacks is there now please, my Homebrew Channel doesn't seem to work anymore which is annoying and cant do the Twilight Hack as updated firmware. Cheers

I have just spoken to the oldham branch and they have said that this must be the pre owned price not the new price he confirmed the pre owned Mario & Sonic at the Summer Olympics is £9.99 but Mario Galaxy is £14.99 he said that they had not had any new Mario Galaxy for a while now. :-(:-

Hi, in the Nottingham branch of Gamestation these games were separate to all of the second hand games. They were on a shelf as you walked in where the chart games are, under a deals section. Pretty sure they were new as I don't recall seeing second hand games go into these special 'deal' sections, I will try and go back in when I leave work. The prices are definitly correct though, sure they had Mario Party 8 for £14.99 as well...

#22
Guess this is instore only.

No mention of the cheaper prices online. :x
#23

safe as houses and a piece of cake

check out 'coverfloader' as well if you're running ISOs from a USB drive - it looks like when you flip through albums on iTunes (but for Wii games obviously) :-D

only secondhand at my gamestation for mario galaxy and that is pre owned
#27
shaun its pre owned on line :(
will look in poole store tomorrow, do you want me to reserve you one if they have it in stock :)

Hi, went in on the way home and turns out they are pre-owned, my apologies. Still good prices but not new, I will update and expire if I can. It was with all the new games in a 'steal of the week' shelf so I thought they were new...
#29
Thanks lynn44 your a star . But it looks like its for pre-owned games. Thanks anyway.
#30
is it still 9.99 for a pre-owned mario galaxy?
#31
Only game I saw pre-owned from the list today was Super Paper Mario and that was £14.99

Edit- My apologies, all the games mention were labeled up as 'Steal of the week' today with the prices mention by the OP.

Went to portsmouth today and Mario Galaxy was £14.99, have a feeling Zelda was £19.99, but the rest were as mentioned. Didnt buy any as might trade in some things tomorrow in Brighton - knowing my luck they wont have any at any of the prices but there we are!

Can anyone else confirm Mario Galaxy at £9.99/know if it will scan as that anyway?

Update - Went to Brighton today and Paper Mario is £14.99 and scans to that effect also annoyingly, wish Id bought the one in Portsmouth yesterday now!
Zelda was £14.99, Mario Galaxy £14.99 and the rest as stated in OP.
