This package looks to be an absolute bargain for its contents to be honest.
Contains: 1 x mySmarthome Main Controller Unit
2 x mySmarthome Plugs
1 x mySmarthome Four-in-One Sensor: Motion detection, Door/Window open and shut position, temperature and luminance
1 x Cloud notification service and free Android, Apple, PC and Mac apps

The "DEAL" here for me are the 2 plugs and the four in one sensor. Plugs bought separately cost around £32 each and the sensor costs around £40. Those in themselves tally up to £104!

I already have a control unit of a different brand so have solely purchased this to expand my current setup with the plugs and sensor. For those interested in home automation, this is a steal in my opinion!

Curious how this would play with Google Home.

Was considering some TP link smart plugs as wouldn't need a hub.

Can't find much about this particular set online, esp Google Home compatibility.

Not sure tbh... there's no mention of IFTTT compatibility which would've been quite helpful I guess.... back at £39.95 again so available to grab if anyone still interested :)

Shows as £173 for me.

Purchased for £39.95 earlier....can't really go too far wrong at that price as long as I use it!
#12
showing as 99.99 now. Does this work directly with smartthings, if so great bargain but I have missed it!

Yeah £99, shame they have been £37 for a bit, I even got a couple for £30.

Post a really good deal on here and it's gone.

Even better we told them how much they should be charging.

@OP what controller are you using?

I've got a Vera but I only get the ability to turn on/off and none of the power measurements.

@creepyg Problem with wifi based things is they use more electric & carbon.

@Sell.Me I could be wrong up I get the impression that the Hauppauge eco system is a fail.

But you can use them with other hubs like Vera.

@PNG666 I personally use a Piper NV which seems to handle the zwave side of things quite well.... In hindsight, if I had a lot more money, I'd probably have gone with a much more customizable system like the Vera. Btw, I have no idea if this controller in the bundle is very good but I would hazard a guess that it isnt :P

Got you, I was hoping it was Vera, tho at some point I want to go PC based as I picked up a cheap Aeon usb sick a bit back.

At some point I will figure out how to get the power info, just so many CODECS, so little time.

The Hauppauge hub, I picked this setup from Amazon DE warehouse a last year €50.

I had to communicate with Hauppauge a few times as someone had already registered it, but they did get back fast.

I got bored with it and so packed it up.

The when Philips brought there motion detectors I got interested again.

But I think for some reason the Hauppauge hub seems to be broken now?

No odds as I think the Hauppauge eco system is a fail.

Got a smartthings hub but it seems to be very limited so got a veraplus much better.

I paid well low for the stuff so can get my money back for bits I don't use, tho I think the Hauppauge hubs will end up in the bin.

I think the thing that may have killed the Hauppauge system is, if you read the box/instructions, it says you may have to pay a licence fee if you use none Hauppauge kit with it! - FU

Thats probably where mine will end up too :P

99 for me

I was hoping to use the accessories with Smartthings....appears to be some success and some erratic behaviour...

...not sure now if £39.95 would have been money best put towards a more expensive alternative.

anyone wanting open \ closed sensors Xiaomi mage very good ones for 5.70 a pop on Gearbest. post takes about 2 weeks but with the wait. they also do motion sensors for slightly more. both work with Smart things.
