I thought as the Shuffle 1GB has dropped in price to make way for the new 2GB model i would post the cheapest place (inc the use of vouchers, price matches etc...) to buy them and keep it up to date for the comping months!

See post #1 for the cheapest deals.

As always +rep to anyone who can find it cheaper or point out a mistake i have made.

If anyone does get one can you let me know the quidco amounts! +rep for people that do!

http://regmedia.co.uk/2007/09/05/ipod_shuffle_1.jpg

John Lewis
£27.00 inc del (use this code: here) - thanks to emasu for the headsup!!
Quidco: 3% (I think - if someone could confirm this +rep)

Want one with Engraving?

Apple
£32.00 inc del (No Discount Available)
Quidco: 3%

Want the "Red" one?

http://a248.e.akamai.net/7/248/8352/1032/store.apple.com/Catalog/uk/Images/shuffle-red.jpg

Then the only place you can get it is direct from Apple (see link above).

I would like to monitor this thread and buy if/when price is right. Could it stay here or sticky of some sort?

HUKD dont do sticky's... but if you click here it will subscribe you to the thread.

You would need to make sure that you have setup email alerts in your Control Panel.

£28.80 for RAC members at Play.com

Nice One!!! +rep

As PC World price match with Play.com plus an extra 10% you could get it instore for £28.80 there as well, useful for people like me who are members of the AA

PS

The green one @ PC World seems to have gone up in price, it's showing £48.97 + £4.95 P&P online

I doubt PC world would match play.com with the RAC discount!

Also the green one on PC World is the old version and has always been £48.97

LOL so do I! but that isn't what I meant

The shuffle @ Play is £32 without the RAC discount

http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/3508888/Apple-iPod-Shuffle-1GB/Product.html

So with the price match and the extra 10% it comes to £28.80

Missed the bit about the green one sorry:oops:

I still dont get ya!

It would be a price match of the difference...

So your wrong even if your logic was correct!

lol

To try and make up for my previous blunders, you can get 5% off everything @ Play with a Varsity card (which cost £2) making the shuffle the same price as Currys but with a bit more Quidco

It's obviously not worth just for this item but if you have one or a free code from dabm's thread it makes it a bit better though still not as good as the RAC discount
#22
Hi found silver one on Pixmania for £28.20 with 4% quidco not the cheapest but not to bad i think
#23
Anyone in the NW of England...head to Bowlers Computer Fair, theses are readily available in there for around £26.
#24
bargain - might get mom one for mothers day!
#25
Thanks, been looking since the price came down. If i can get it for 28 makes it a bit easier to decide than getting the 2gb for £40 (hmv + student discount is seeming to register for some reason).

Will these ones from play have the newer headphones?

Im not going to include this one as you would have to pay to get the varsity card and its not worth it for 0.5% Quidco extra.

Ive PMed the guy in that thread, if i get a reply il post that up! +rep for the help.

I think it is... I entered a load of random numbers and it accepted them!

So they must manual check them :-(

Given up waiting for play so bought the red one off the site instead (guess it's the nicest colour), just wonder how much actually goes to the 'charity' (does specifically say it's not a charity on the site) - probably three and six!

Got mine from Curry's @ £30.40. Quidco is reporting £1.06, bringing the total cost down to £29.36

Despite Curry's claiming delivery in five working days, it's waiting for delivery at my local depot after ordering on Friday afternoon.

Thanks guys

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

THREAD REPORTED TO MODS 4.02PM
mods please move this thread, its basically a discussion. There should be a specific deal on here otherwise its just a waste of time

Not really sure why you have reported this. As a mod had commented on the first page, this deal is fine. People are also allowed to discuss deals.

bought one today from tescos 31.97 and if your going to do your shopping you get a 5p of every litre voucher which could save you a couple of quid.

What is it about the curry's quidco that no one can total it & type it?

Curry's
£30.40 inc del (use this code: here)
Quidco: £1.06 (3.5%) (confirmed by Sadgeek)
Total: £29.43
and
