True. Also with T-Mobile direct you get free Internet and a free booster, whereas these deals from other sites are effectively charging for both (@ £5 ea).
If the price from T-Mobile direct is in line with that currently charged for the Hero (ie. same or a little more to account for the phone costing ~£50 more) then it's going to be much cheaper to wait and purchase from them.
Would definitely recommend holding out until everyone's announced their prices; doesn't seem to make sense to commit to a 18/24 month contract a month in advance of getting the phone and before the chance to assess what all the likely deals are.
Although you may actually be able to install Windows Mobile 7 onto the HD2 once the ROM is released. But I wouldn't bank on it..
