£18.50 delivered is a bargain price in my opinion, and I was unable to find anything similar any cheaper.... so on that basis alone I'd say it's a hot deal....

Apart from anything it's dead handy for also those outside the home job's your partners may have planned for you (well mine has anyway!)

Looks well built and as you say, a great price.

i bought one for double the price a few weeks ago, this is a great price. heat added

Managed to get mine from a local auction many years ago, but this one looks really good design especially fitting on the corner of the wall, no more leaning to reach the hip end.
#4
Excellent price and looks a good bit of kit
#5
Pity additional p&p charge to Northern Ireland ;(

How tall is it?

I was wondering the same but from reading the eBay listing this doesn't include the ladder, just the V-shape thingy by the look of it.

If it included the ladder that would be the deal of the century :)

Handy piece of equipment to have.
#11
Just bought a set. Thanks
#12
Not voting cold because it's probably the cheapest about but still pricey for a V-shape piece of metal.
#13
Just come to me with a flat piece of metal and I will shape it up for you!

Thanks, just the thing to put in the shed along with my 3 part ladder which I've used once in about 7 years and that was on to a garage roof. Thankfully aluminium doesn't rust. I'm sure I'll find a use for it someday and then I'll be glad it's there...that sounds like justification enough to go ahead and purchase.

Yes, you're right. What an ambiguous listing. Think I'll refrain from using HUKD after a couple of Saturday night beers

Brought one of these last year for the same price, certainly helped stabilise my ladder whilest painting up at the apex of my roof.
#17
A good bit of kit for the price, much safer than leaning a ladder on a plastic gutter as it wont slide around etc, good for cleaning gutters out & painting with added bonus of use on a corner of a building. Bought & voted hot.

Why can't you just place the ladder sides either side of the drain pipe instead if using the 'V' shape?

It's not in the least bit ambiguous. Or have nearly 7,000 been duped? Their feedback suggests they haven't.

Desc has been changed. As I say, picture of ladder + Saturday night beer + original desc made me think it was something else! :p Does seem a bit, er, niche.

Have some heat, just bought one as I need something to allow me to get the leaves out of the guttering later on in the year without resting on sofit or guttering.
#23
Good deal.
I have the standard version but the V inset would come in really useful.
#24
Would be good with the "V" to lean against a tree.
#25
Just ordered. Very useful bit of kit, and yes , leaning against a tree for pruning is a good idea. At last i wont risk slipping on the guttering or trying to reach above blind and hoping for the best. Thanks op

Hi, how strong it is that v bit shape??? Would that not be a bit woobly at a certain height????or any danger to bend as the ladder is extended against the wall???
Thank you

You probably could in the picture but in real life there isn't always the room either side of a down pipe.

You don't run the ladder up the wall, you extend it first, then lean it on the wall.

"contact for postage to Scotland"

last time i checked all major postage/courier companies are the same to Glasgow as the rest of the UK mainland

We're not independent yet oO

ofcourse we do but extending the ladder against the wall it is a lot safer obviously as an help and in the correct manner especially when it comes to extent a 9m+ 3 section ladder. Can see that must be potentially weak as it is and obviously can virtually start to bend if not careful. 2 extra brackets welded oblique would have made it stronger and safer. Can always be made after all.
