£559.99 delivered there, and about £9 Quidco.

I am in the market for one of these but I don't want to pay more than £499. I'd like to pay £399 :D
#3
are you sure what you are getting from them? It's the EU model without a proper UK plug. what model are they exactly delivering? The one from Unlocked Mobiles is the N910F. Expansys doesn't even reply to the questions placed on their site about the model they ship. How trustworthy are they really?

I'm sure we're all in the same boat, but I would expect £499 in the summer?

that's a good price but it's locked and would require another £20.42 (I think) to get it unlocked plus £10 quid top up which would total £530 which would still be a great deal. The only problem I have is that its software would be infected with EE bloatware and other stuff that someone mentioned before.... was it some kind of tracking ware?
One wouldn't also get new software when samsung releases it as EE would want to make its own changes.

thanks for the info. But can you explain what they mean by UK Adaptor? Is it that the power supply is the EU two PIN type and the added an adaptor like the ones someone from europe would bring with them to the UK?

Yup spot on, a travel adapter type thing. If you want the UK version, SIM free - it's gonna cost ya!

and I suppose that it would be the only thing that is different? Just that Power supply?

Yeah pretty much, you might have EU firmware but that is not a bad thing as tend to get updates quicker than UK firmware. I would say it would be preferable to have an EU SIM free version than a UK network locked and full of bloat version.

Computertrace, now on EE handsets and cannot be removed even after flashing a new ROM. EE can disable your phone whenever they wish. Never buy a phone from EE.

Bought in Tesco when they had that Clubcard deal, used my 70pound voucher to bring total price of 600 hundred to 460, gonna save this year's vouchers to spend them on Note 5.

To be honest, Note 3's battery life is much better than 4's, definitely need an external battery If you are a heavy user like me.

I was going to buy it from Tesco too but didn't do it. When is the next Boost? I have a Note 2 which is working perfectly fine, except i've just cracked the screen a second time. I'm thinking to get the Note 4 on a contract but but can't find an outstanding deal at present. I too am wondering if I should hold out and save up the vouchers for a Note 5.

I have a note 4 on the way from Tesco.
Only paid £300 for it.
They gave me after I damaged my sim holder in my lumia and it wasn't covered under warranty.
They said I could have a phone at cost price instead.
I chose note 4 at £297.
Taking ages to be delivered though because of holidays.

I had cracked Note 2's screen before, had it repaired under warranty for free without any questions asked.

The boost usually starts every 3months when statement comes out I think. The best way to do it is, convert your top cash back money to Clubcard points, maximum 50 pound I believe, then save all the points until November/Xmas boost, without the boost I wouldn't be buying the phone as Tesco's price isn't attractive.

Anyway, let's see what Samsung will bring next, if it's a better Note 5, I will definitely be buying.

I ran two personal phones for over ten years, one on Android and one on windows phone. I tried several makes and models.
Until 9 months ago, the Android OS was slightly my favourite, but with Windows 8 and then 8.1, I switched camps.
If you care to look at the OS now, it has the notifications bar and pretty much all of the apps you could ever realistically want (major improvement recently). I finally plumped for this OS.
I also decided to choose a 'Phablet' that would take the place and the duties of both a tablet and a phone - in one unit.

Therefore, the Nokia Lumia was my obvious choice. It is fast, durable and well designed, with a battery life to die for.
I was a little nervous at first, as it appears big, but a slim and smart case gave more grip and now I cannot fault the Lumia.

I paid £300 from CEX, but I have more recently seen them for arouns £350 new. At this price, with the superb spec, it is a bargain.
No, it doesn't have Samsung's own added software, but it does come with Here+ Maps and Drive (superb!) and MS Office as standard (Priceless for documents), so do please give it a close look.

PS I am not a Nokia or MS employee, merely so please to have only one item to carry not two or three!!
