looks great. but checking this tv out, it looks like its not true 4k. the info on the net and website talk alot about upscaling. please feel free to correct me if im wrong, as i'm in the market for a new tv

im including the amazon link as this seems to have more reviews than anywhere else

All modern TVs upscale older content, including 1080p "full HD" TVs, to make anything that isn't it's native res look a bit better. This is still a 4k TV. For HDR though, it seems as though this is an 8 bit panel, which isn't the full capacity of colour that HDR can produce.

im not into the upscaling idea. if i had this TV i would watch native 1080p as im watching now with my tv, there would be no need to upscale that. question in my mind is, what would it be like if i was to watch 4k content on that TV for example i hear some netflix content is in 4k?
