If you're not a fan of Bruce Dickinson and Iron this probably isn't a deal for you otherwise read on.

The soundtrack for this CD retails for around £9 alone so getting it free with the film for £10.99 isn't bad in itself. However if you use the code 'Chemical' from this weeks Kerrang you get it for £9.99

Please note play.com say soundtrack is only free for pre orders while stocks last.

I should add I've no idea if the film is any good, from all accounts it sounded pretty awful but entertainingly awful which suits me :-)

"If you're not a fan of Bruce Dickinson and Iron this probably isn't a deal fo you otherwise read on."

Why? The film has nothing to do with heavy metal. And the soundtrack has just two metal songs on it.

The links to Iron Maiden being drawn with this movie are totally ridiculous. Yes, Bruce wrote it. But otherwise, it's a movie and has nothing to do with music at all.

I too have heard the movie isn't great, but contains some good performances from the likes of Simon Callow (always good value).

Didn't mean anything offensive by it, I was mainly interested as I'm Iron Maiden / Bruce Dickinson fan and given the publicity the movie got I assumed it was mainly fans who were interested, especially in the DVD/Soundtrack.

If anyone other than Maiden fans are interested that's even better, the more the merrier :-)

Yeah but lets be honest. Most people who are going to watch it are likely to be Iron Maiden fans. I doubt most of the mainstream audience will be interested in this film, especially as its £9.99.
