Chicken breast (halal), skinless, £4.50/kg until end of Ramadan @ Tesco
I thought this was a general lowering of the price due to season, but it seems it's only a deal through ramadan. Usually £5.99/kg (as can be seen in Asda's halal section).
This price is in Birmingham, but I assume its nationwide providing your local store has a halal butcher.

If you care about animal welfare then buy only free range organic. If you don't then halal is irrelevant, as the chickens are kept in such conditions most wont be enjoying life regardless. Moaning about halal is stupid when the animals are mistreated from birth anyway, regardless of their method of slaughter.
As for this deal, it will go ice cold because most people have it ingrained that halal = terrorists or some such nonsense.

Im sure they did and again its cashing in on a religious thing still stand by the fact if they can offer ANYTHING cheaper they can sell it at that price full time.
