I`m not one of these that likes a hot hot curry, and expected this to be out my depth, but was rather dissapointed. Was tasty enough and well worth a quid when I got it the other week, but was seriuosly lacking any heat at all. Would have again though.

Brought a couple of these last week. Not sure wat Will4long is on about, I needed a towel just to wipe the sweat off me. Great curry, good for clearing your system out and a serious bargain for £1. Wouldnt hesitate getting some more. Have some HEAT!

Must have just been my one then. I`m not the macho curry man and normally jalfrezi is my limit but my one was lacking heat. As I said, was very tasty and would have again. Just hope I get the same level of heat, but guess its a gamble.

This curry is only a baby Phal really.
If you want to heat things up a bit try this stuff
http://www.southdevonchillifarm.co.uk/shop/index.php?target=products&product_id=147

or

http://www.chilliworld.com/SP6.asp?p_id=18

These I have found to be the best Heat & Taste per penny that you can get.

I don't think these supermarket curry's are anywhere near as hot as an equivalent restaurant curry. I've had one of these & would say it's probably equal to a Madras.

Still hot from me for a squid.
