So overpriced.

It gets said a lot on here but I would seriously consider doing the research and building your own, it's very simple to do just by reading some articles online and you save a lot of money.

For those parts I would expect to pay about £750,

I'll have a look online and get back to you

I've not been following prices for while but it looks expensive. Try reddit for advice on building a pc or buying a prebuilt https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/

It's rare to get a gaming PC that is actually 'good' thats pre-built theres always downfalls and over-priced, build one, trust me, it's fun and actually really easy!

agreed... my first pc build was a success and I enjoyed doing it. time wise it took me about 6 hours from build to windows boot. now I'm building my 3rd gaming rig. I've customised it to the way I want it with led, water cooling and ive saved money too. no brained really.

Just had a look at pc part picker the exact same spec pc comes out at £740,
I was in the same situation and in the end built it myself to save a few hundred quid and it's just like lego it all just clicks together and you're done

Use Pc part picker it walks you through every part you need to get and tells you if it's compatible or not :-)

Just on the motherboard front,

Any intel kaby lake cpu (core i5 7xxx, core i7 7xxx) uses either a B250 board which is the budget board, H270 which is better for gaming and Z270 which is most expensive but for overclocking

The only i7 worth buying now is the 7700K. With that you'd want a Z270 motherboard.

You'd have to consider choosing a Ryzen CPU though, and the money you'd save would go towards a better GPU then. Depends what your budget is.

Ryzen build - ignore the price, you can get this for £1000 (maybe less with offers, etc or switching a few brands about) - I can help you find good deals, too.

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/fvjFLD - Ryzen 1600

An Intel build would take you over this budget with a 7700K and more compromises would have to be made.

thanks mate. thinking of getting 4gb or 6gb video card think 8 gb would be overkill

Overkill for what? You said you wanted to game at 4K for a start, and the memory for a start doesn't determine the frames you'll get, for example, the 1060 GPU you had in the build you posted, it's not a bad card, but it won't run at 4K at all, lol. Even the 1070 is not really a 4K card.

I don't think you understand enough about graphics cards, 4GB is almost useless at this point.

The build I put together for you is infinitely better. You need to read what I have written to you.

What do you mean if you can find it?

There is nothing to find, you will have to go to Amazon/another retailer, buy the parts individually and build it yourself/ask a friend to help you. It's a very easy process.

The build is good but poster was looking for 60fps at 4k and not going to get that with a 1060

To get BF1 at 4k with 60fps you are gonna need something like at least a 1080 so you won't get what you want with what you have to spend without a self build

I didn't know people still bought PC games on disk, but you can always buy a USB one if you really want one.

He also won't get a 4K system for under 1k with a 1080 included, so it's swings and roundabouts, the 1070 is a good mid ground and he can lower a few settings/or just not play in 4K, lol.

An intel build to add to the mix.

If you are just doing gaming the i5 7600K is a beast, its unlocked so overclockable to around 4.7ghz.
I have it in my system and I love it, don't get me wrong ryzen is incredible right now but just for gaming the intel is still better but its up to you

Your build has a 1070 which still doesn't meet requirements without turning settings down. It's better to give facts and explain expectations rather then throwing builds together which is in budget but doesn't do the required job.

The i5 is an absolute waste of money in comparison to purchasing a Ryzen 1600, especially if he'd be gaming at 1440p or 4k, as he'd be GPU bound anyways.

Honestly id forget about 4K at 60fps, even the 1080ti struggles to keep that up id lower the settings to 1080p/1440p and go for a gtx 1060 or rx580 and wait a year or two until new cards come out that comfortably run games at 4k

I don't really know what you're asking anymore, it isn't making much sense.

There is no real point buying any CPU other than the i7-7700K, or something from the Ryzen line.

If you don't want to play in 4K though, and only in 1080P or 1440P you can save a lot of money.

Yes, a waste of money. 4 cores and 4 threads, already being pushed to 100% by many games that came out last year, and this year, the i5 line-up is dead. It sucks for people who bought them, but there is no market for them now, what so ever. I'm afraid.

im not getting 4k now making it too expensive please post a decent part picker for 60fps at least battlefield 1 budget £500 to £1000
