These look like the screw in ones, the better chin-up bars are the power bar (http://www.chinups.co.uk/) and the one from JML that's advertised on TV.

The bar is higher up from the ground thus giving you much more of a challenge.
They do cost considerable more but imo it's worth it.

The best way of removing your door frame.

Ive got one i bought from Argos over my door at the mo. Its done me good over the years but I need a replacement. This one looks the part and with the cushioned grips should help loads with grip and stop me getting the calluses i got from my unpadded current one.

This is my one concern. How much damage can these cause to a doorframe in the long run?

It looks great but by putting at my door frame means I might bang my head onto it when I walk into my room everytime. HAHA

But I would wish for that still... maybe it could be placed near the storeroom, which is less accessed. heee
