Can you let us know what the weight is?

It doesn't state on the packaging but at least 500g, I would estimate slightly more than 500g.

Morrisons own isn't that nice at all .. tastes more like an ordinary morrisons loaf :-(

A decent one should be moist and light

Had a chocolate orange panettone last year from Sainsburys, lovely stuff.

Do you just eat it as is?

Does it toast well?

Nice with butter?

There are pantones at tk maxx that look lovely from the picture but have no idea what you do with them? are they a cake to have with a hot drink or with some cream or what?

This isn't the cheerleader from Heroes, then?...
#13
what are these? Are they a cake or a bread? Do i make sandwiches from it?

It's sort of cake. You eat it on your cafe brake.

its perfect with a coffee, never thought about toasting it but I am guessing it would work because it is light and not very moist..

I bought one from LIdl 1kg it is Ł3.99. I like it.

Lidl Panettone is good - anybody tried these Morrisons ones yet?
I thought the mini Maina ones on sale in Sainsbury's were really dry and not worth the price (half price at 99p).

Picked one up on Monday and am working my way through it. It's lovely - would definitely buy again. But I seem to remember they weren't on sale for long last year so will probably disappear soon.
#19
How long do they keep once opened?
#20
Can they be frozen?

This is really tasty, gave out free samples at new store in Bacup but then didn't have any for sale only pre-order sales! Gutted!

These make a great chocolate bread and butter pud - heat!

Panettone are delicious if you warm a slice slightly in the microwave and serve with cream. Not the healthiest suggestion but a great treat.
