Your kgbdeal includes a three-course Christmas lunch (12.30pm) and an overnight stay on Christmas Day, plus breakfast on Boxing Day, based on two people, to redeem at the Radisson Edwardian Grafton or the Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth (97 Great Russell Street, London, WC1B 3LB)
what & why

If you've ever played host on Christmas Day, you'll know that behind the succulent turkey, mountain of sprouts and flaming brandy sauce is usually a hot, flustered cook with a sudden loss of appetite. The 25th December is a wonderful date, but wouldn't it be nice to remove the stress and leave the bloopers to the Christmas cracker jokes this year? We think so! Our kgb Agents have been working like efficient elves to bring you a Christmas Day package that will really make you wish it could be Christmas every day. You can swap the mayhem of your kitchen for one of London's finest hotels and absorb the magic of the Capital at holiday time. For just £119, you and one other can enjoy a 3-course Christmas lunch, an overnight stay plus breakfast on Boxing Day at a 4-star Radisson Edwardian, worth £249!

Tempting...my original plan (since I can't get back up to Aberdeen) is microwave mashed potatoes with thick slices of chicken breast & gravy washed down with a bottle of champagne...then several pints at any of the pubs open on Christmas Day on the Chiswick High Road in London...lovely!!! X)

Good deal... if anyone is thinking of using the tube to travel out, please note there is a tube strike on the 26th.

The Grafton is a busy business hotel most of the year, so no surprise they're doing a deal to handle the quiet period.
I stay there every time I'm in London, and it's a nice enough hotel with a bit of olde worlde charm, 20 yards from Warren Street Tube, it's got a Sainsburys and loads of fast food type places within yards and 3 stops into Leicester Square. The rooms can be very very small though.

Have you two thought about meeting up? Blind Date style?

Normally its a rip off at this time of the year, great price

I stayed here for a wedding anniversary and it's a lovely hotel, very special.

stayed at the Grafton (Tottenham Court Road) many times with work, next to Warren Street tube. Its a classy hotel but watch the rooms though... some have 2 steps down immediately behind the door so can catch out the unwary particularly if youve had a few drinks !!!oO Not that you'll be having too many as the bar prices are ££££ and frankly the food isnt up to much... Ive never had a decent meal there.:(

My Chrimbo is sorted but I bet several on here could pair up and take advantage of this offer.

You could always try and persuade someone to go with you via this thread and we could all observe - Blind Date, Cilla Black stylee!!

At the Grafton, ask for an inside room as you are on a main road and it is noisy.
Rooms are not large, dark wood, usually have a small table/desk. Bathrooms again small but of a good standard. Many of the rooms have had new 32" TVs installed which take hours just to change a channel. Fridge / mini bar.
For the price and time of year I would say this is a great deal, but beware of the tube strike on boxing day.

oh god, it would be bliss. We have the family here...if just us four it would be lovely, but a crabby "maiden aunt" sister will ensure it isnt. :(

Oh, to run away.......
